I was very disappointed in La Quinta.

I thought for the price. We got a really nice room. I would stay at this hotel in the future and we fly out of Midway at least once a year. Sometimes twice and an overnight stay is often required. The staff was very nice and accommodating even though we didn't check-in until 8:30 pm that night and we brought our dog without prior notice (an oversight on our part). The staff was very nice and made the accommodation and moved us to the first floor where we got a really nice room without any hassle or problems. I'm not so sure I would've been so accommodating if I were in that situation but the hotel staff was wonderful. The hotel must have been renovated recently as it appeared newer. The breakfast included hot items like bacon and eggs and waffles which everyone in my family was able to find something they could eat and enjoy. It was clean. Ill never forget how clean our room was. It must've been the cleanest hotel room I ever stayed in. and it was a pet room.

Positives: Hotel staff was friendly and courteous. When we told them at check-in that we brought our dog, they were very accommodating.

Negatives: I can't think of anything that made me unhappy.

The hostess was very rude upon arrival. As the phone was more of a priority than me. Than when we got our key it did not work along with others checking in. And she was very rude about fixing the problem. Than in our new room there was a trail of hair from the door way of the bathroom to and into the tub and makeup spots on the white linen. Not the worst stay but not the best either.

Positives: Quite.

Negatives: Rude hostess, unsanitary.

Overall this hotel is a nice place to stay for a one night business trip.

We had some shopping to do in the local area and then were going to Downtown Chicago. The hotel was well placed for both these activities. It was priced fairly and access to major highways was convenient so the short trip Downtown was no problem because of the money saved. There was also some top quality restaurants located nearby. The hotel was clean, quiet and spacious. We would gladly stay there anytime.

Positives: The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. It had a lovely breakfast.

Negatives: We found nothing we disliked about the hotel.

The room was very clean and quiet. Nice desk and work area with free wi-fi. Bed and pillows very comfortable. I had early meetings so did not get a chance to try the breakfast.

A good family-based hotel as a stopping spot for visiting Chicago. The pool area was nice & clean, the breakfast area VERY busy! The staff was exceptional.

Older, but renovated not too long ago. Rooms were clean, but did not have ice on our floor or the one above us. Breakfast was sufficient for a quick one, staff was friendly and helpful. Motel is located close to nice shopping malls also plenty of eating establishments

Positives: Staff was helpful, rooms were clean, beds were o.k., convenient to good shopping.

Negatives: My daughter's car tires were punchered on the side on the tire and was destroyed, had to be replaced.

I'm used to a bit more upscale hotels. This was an old hotel and has seen better days. It was in a good location.

Positives: The staff was courteous.

Negatives: My room smelled like old smoke even though it was non-smoking.
