Parking is a problem unless your willing to walk down the road across the bridge and up a hill or you can pay for them to park it daily.
Positives: The beds were comfortable.
Negatives: Too many rules on bringing in your own food on Thanksgiving day and your own refreshments.

Hotel has a resort feel. Rooms are recently redone. Building has some years on it, but still comfortable.
Positives: Accommodating rooms, double sinks in bathroom and
Negatives: Long ways to parking lot unless you valet.

On campus of McD's Hamburger Univ. great wooded setting, beautiful hotel, view of woods outside sliding doors that actually opened a little. Very peaceful. Interesting McD's related original artwork throughout the hotel corridors, but not an overbearing theme throughout.
Positives: The setting was woodsy and beautiful.
Negatives: Business center was weak.

Great hotel for business travelers, not so great for people with kids due to fact that there's no door on bathroom and no tub (just a shower) or for elderly people due to the great distance of the parking lot from the hotel. Our room was WAY to far away from the elevator. We tried to ride the mountain bikes but all except one was in disrepair. Gift shop stayed closed the whole time we were there (Sun, Mon and Tue). Room was small, view was just trees staring us in the face right outside our window. Overall I expected more for 4 star hotel. Maybe 3 or 3½ stars would be a more fitting description. However the staff was friendly, hotel was clean and well maintained, I really don't have any major complaints I just expected more. It was good for the price though. I would stay there again however with lower expectations.
Positives: Location was great. surroundings were beautiful.
Negatives: No door on bathroom.

Overall good hotel, 4 stars, however, would be better if they offered free coffee or basic breakfast for business travelers...also, had no power my last day of stay, and false fire alarm the night before, so didn't get good night sleep for 2 nights.... Hope this was coincidental...
Positives: Good location, bed and service.
Negatives: Fire alarm at 3am, and lost power from 11pm-3am on our last day...

Hotel lobby was rather dated for a Hyatt hotel. Also, it was rather odd feel. Felt definitely like a conference center.
Positives: Great bathroom and shower.
Negatives: Beds were horrible, too low and thin mattress.

Very few know about this hotel tucked away on wooded grounds next to a golf course. It's a great place for romance with the hotel restaurant overlooking the water. The spa is fantastic!
Positives: Location.
Negatives: The walk to the parking lot.

Hotel is beautiful and located on very pretty property. It is not overly easy or convenient to get to, and it is not a good hotel to check into after 10:00 - as valet closes and you are left to park off site. I was offered a wake up call, and I asked for a 6:15. They even offered a follow up call (to be safe), and I told them 6:20 would be great! My phone never rang, I missed my first appointment. When I asked the front desk if there was trouble with their system, I was given a blank stare and told, "I dunno, I've been gone and it's my first day back". No apology or anything! Internet connection was terrible, cell service did not work from the rooms, and valet misplaced my keys - leaving me waiting for a very long time to get my car! It is a nice hotel, but the service is poor, the room walls are so thin that you can literally hear people brushing their teeth, and you have to walk forever with your bags to get to your room (with nobody that offers to assist). I stay in a hotel 2-3 times per week on average, and this is one of my least favorite hotels. If I were traveling for pleasure, I would enjoy it a bit more because of the quiet and relaxing location.
Positives: Clean rooms.
Negatives: Valet closes early (10 p.m.) - and parking is not convenient.

Positives: Wonderful wooded setting.
Negatives: Parking is a bit of a hike.

We love staying at the Hyatt Lodge at McDonald's, and have done so several times a year since their latest remodel. The staff is great and the public areas are unique and fun. The pool is gorgeous. They could use more rooms with king beds, but they are primarily catering to business travelers so it's somewhat understandable. The double beds themselves are narrow, but very comfortable. My only reservation concerns room condition. The hotel gets heavy business use and the rooms are starting to need attention- soiled carpeting, etc. The bathrooms seem fine overall, although one room we were given had a faulty flush toilet and we had to switch. In short, I am happy to continue staying there but I don't feel the rooms are quite up to standards right now.
Positives: Location is beautiful, public areas are great.
Negatives: Rooms are looking a bit worn,

The location of this hotel was excellent and it was near the city, but you never would know that from the view. It was very private yet close to Oakbrook shopping center. We loved its location and would love to stay again sometime.
Positives: The fitness center was very nice.
Negatives: I wish there had been no charge for internet.

I usually don't fill these out unless the hotel/room was exceptionally nice or bad. This was a great hotel. Great architecture, beautiful grounds. Great hotel.
Positives: Bar with fireplace.
Negatives: Parking was a hike, but they had valet, but the weather was nice, so not needed.

Overall, very attractive, clean and welcoming. I was disappointed when arrived for check in at 11:55 and was told the valet parkers were done for the night. I had to park my car done the hill, over the bridge and in a secluded parking lot. As a female traveling alone, I was quite disappointed that my safety was not a consideration, especially since the valet parkers were still there.
Positives: The lodge atmosphere.
Negatives: Arrived

Everything was nice except for the stains.
Positives: Secluded. Almost in the woods.
Negatives: Multiple gross carpet stains in the room

Nice, clean, roomy, comfortable, and a friendly staff. Not wild about the valet guys. They placed my keys on my car when I ran in quick to check in. Just because it's not a Lexus, doesn't mean I want it scratched.
Positives: Clean, nice looking wedding parties.
Negatives: Pool was under construction.

Overall my experience at this hotel was very nice although I was disappointed to see the pool was being renovated. But they accommodated by giving us a complimentary card to use the pool at a nearby park district and arranged transportation. my stay was very nice. the room was clean and staff was very accommodating.
Positives: Mall is close by, staff was very friendly, its quiet and comfortable.
Negatives: The swimming pool was out of order due to renovation, they were not able to provide one king bed room and provided us with 2 bed room.

Very nice, clean and modern. Parking is a hike, as was our room.
Positives: Comfortable clean room. Very nice bathroom.
Negatives: We were so far away from the entry. And the parking lot is quite a hike too.

Seemed a little creepy when we got there at night. Different in day. Staff was very friendly. Hard to find place at night. Walk from car was a little scary.
Positives: Clean, good room amenities, beautiful campus.
Negatives: Carpeting made it look dated.

The hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean, the service was nice. Loved the flat screen, the bathroom and vanities. I also loved what appeared to be an Eco-friendly environment. The inexpensive bottled water was a nice touch as well.
Positives: Rooms were new.
Negatives: Hotel was too hard to get to, and parking.
