The Sheraton Suites Elk Grove Village is a nice hotel off the Chicago beaten path. Catering mostly to business travelers, this hotel is located on beautiful acreage which includes a pond. Parking is free, but there is limited access to public transportation. Staff was very helpful and friendly, and rooms were neatly made up.

Positives: The hotel was very clean and in immaculate condition.

Negatives: For a suite, the room was somewhat small.

Good spot for visitors to stay in the NW suburbs with access to downtown through the Metra.

Positives: Good place to sleep.

Negatives: No free amenities (like coffee).

This is a beautiful, modern hotel in a great location. All rooms are attractive, well-appointed suites with bedrooms separated from the rest of the suite by French doors. Nice living space includes mini bar, fridge, microwave and attractive granite counter space. There are two large flat-screen TV's (one in the bedroom, and another mounted on the wall in the living room). There's also a nice workspace with wired and WiFi Internet access.

Positives: All rooms are suites, and there's no fee for pets.

Negatives: All of the parking spaces (including disabled) are surprisingly far from the hotel entrances.

The hotel was very average with spacious rooms and nice linens, although the interior was dated and below par. The worst part of the stay occurred when I went to grab breakfast at 8 AM. I returned to find the room had been cleaned and my stuff had disappeared. The front desk sent a housekeeping manager up who went to search for my stuff. She brought it back in a bag, but was unable to tell me if had been recovered from the trash. I voiced my concern to the front desk person about the hygiene associated with potentially having my toothbrush and clothes mixed in with others trash. She told anything about it and offered to send a toothbrush up. I was in the room for another hour and it never arrived. The hotel might be fine for some, but for an experienced traveler as myself I would pass on an opportunity to stay there again.

Positives: Spacious rooms.

Negatives: Housekeeping please see my subsequent review.

My sister and I had a ball at this hotel. The fact that we both had seperate sleeping areas was great. Each of us had our own TV and that made for easy viewing for both of us.

Positives: The comfort was outstandng.

Negatives: The restaurant prices were too high.

Hotel was great, no problems.

Positives: The entrance doors were well engineered for getting luggage through them.

Negatives: No USB plug-in in the room.

We were very pleased with the hotel and the deal we got with Priceline. Very close to freeway and downtown Chicago. Hotel was very clean. Housekeeping staff was excellent and helpful.

Positives: Loved the linens on the beds!

Negatives: Some of the TV channels were very fuzzy.

One of the best rooms I have stayed in, and an excellent value!

Positives: Excellent suite room, decorated very well and a tremendous value.

Negatives: Nothing.

Very nice property if you can get a Priceline rate. Rooms were updated a couple of years ago, around 2008. Beds are very good quality and very comfortable. Linens very high quality. Huge king-sized pillows on king beds. You get 2 feather and 2 foam pillows. 2 flat screen TVs. Microwave and fridge. One criticism is they charge $ 10 per day for internet in the room. Free wireless in lobby.
Positives: Beds and pillows are very luxurious and comfortable.

Negatives: Either the heating or the AC system is available, not both. You might need to open windows to cool room in fall or spring when AC is unavailable.

I thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay. The staff was friendly - offered to buy me a coffee when I reported that the coffee pot wouldn't work - (as I was checking out). Room was beautiful. No book with the hotel amenities in the room.

Positives: Large rooms - separate bedroom.

Negatives: Coffee pot in room did not work.

This hotel was completely renovated a couple years ago (around 2006 or 2007?). The rooms are very attractive, very clean and up to date. The linens are very high quality!! Super soft. The beds are very comfortable as well as the pillows. (There are choices.) You do not hear anything through the walls, completely quiet. Very good Starbucks coffee in the room.

Positives: The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.

Negatives: The parking lot is not close to the entry door.

Very nice rooms. Staff should be friendlier and take the initiative to help one out with reservation.

Positives: Very clean and

Negatives: Service at the hotel, when I called, were not very courteous, would not bother to find my 2 reservations that

Other than the charge for internet service I could not have been more pleased!

Positives: Pleasantly surprised at the decorating very modern.

Negatives: Charge for internet in the room.

I paid for this room, which was a great price for the quality. The room was a 2 room suite, a king sized, somewhat hard bed in the bedroom, and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. One of two drawbacks. We barely had space to set up a crib for our infant, but we squeezed it in with some effort lifting it over the bed. The bathroom was nice and clean, and there were two large, flat screen TV's, refrigerator and microwave. I would definitely stay here again. The only other complaint I had besides no room for the crib was the fact that the cleaning staff didn't replace our dirty drinking glasses, and the first morning didn't take the dirty crib sheet even though we stripped it off the crib for them. The second day we threw the crib sheet in the tub so that they would have to take it. They did, but never replaced it with a clean one. I was prepared with a crib sheet from home, but I wish they would have given us that service. Overall, not a big deal, and I loved the hotel.

Positives: I loved the two room suite, gave us privacy from mom in law who slept on the sofa sleeper.

Negatives: The cleaning staff didn't replace crib sheet or glasses.

Great hotel, nice room, very clean. Excellent location in NW chicagoland. Closed to extensive shopping and dinning options.

Positives: Suite layout, comfort bed, good location.

Negatives: Small swimming pool, expensive mini bar, internet fee.

This room was beyond all of our expectations. Close to Wood Field Mall and very near O'Hare also not far from the Metra to Downtown Chicago.
Would love to go back again for a Christmas getaway or any time for business or pleasure. Wonderful hotel has just been all redone. Will be happy to tell people to stay there.

Positives: The room was a delight king size bed & two flat screen TV's. Sitting room with fridge and microwave.

Negatives: To many kids in the pool and workout area because of the holiday weekend.

Completely satisfied with my stay there for 5 nights. My wife would have loved it.

Positives: Easy check in/out. Nicely furnished. Wished my wife was there.

Negatives: Little hard to find as my GPS couldn't find the address.

The rooms were beautiful - the bed was separated from the seating area by French doors. Both the bedroom and seating area had nice flat screen TVs. The negatives were that the hotel did not recycle, they used disposal coffee cups instead of mugs and washed the linens each day without our request. The air conditioning didn't seem to circulate very well so the bedroom stayed warm all night. Overall, it was a wonderful room - if the hotel recycled and provided more eco-friendly features we would have had a phenomenal experience. They are currently renovating so I'm sure more changes are to come.

Positives: Beautiful rooms and two flat screen TVs.

Negatives: Not eco-friendly - no recycling, washed linens and towels daily.

The Sheraton suites put the money where I feel it should be; in the rooms, not the lobby. The only thing I wish they offered was a complimentary breakfast.

This is an excellent hotel in structure, location, staff, room quality, and amenities for the price and star level. This hotel was at the level of 4 star except for lack of valet and concierge service. I stay in hotels on average 40 nights a year and usually in 3 and 4 stars -this is the best value 3 star hotel that I've had the pleasure of staying at.

Positives: The room was spotless and very nicely arranged.

Negatives: There is nothing to dislike!

This was a very nice hotel for the price, but the local phone calls were $1.50, and using a calling card entailed a $2.00 charge. Cheapo!

Positives: Nice bedding, toiletries.

We were assigned a handicap room making accomodations somewhat inconvenient. The hotel had remodeling going on daily including weekends which was extremely annoying listening to power tools at 7am. The staff was very accomodating. The sheets for the beds could have been considerably longer to fit the beds without coming out.

Positives: Convenient location with pleasant employees.

Negatives: Remodeling 7 days/week starting early am with loud power tools. Picketing out front.

We expected better accommodations from a three star hotel than we received. The Business Center charged 35 cents per minute for internet access and our suite (size of closet, TV reception, etc.) was not up to our usual expectations for a mid class hotel. We will stay at this hotel in the future only if there are no alternate choices.

Positives: The hotel was in the general area that I needed to stay in.

Negatives: Hotel charged for internet access and was much smaller and not as nice as I expected.

This hotel is well located and easy to find. The pool is tiny. The linens in the room were luxurious. In general it feels like this is a hotel in decline, it has seen better days.

Positives: The park with elk nearby, proximity of hotel to hwy.

Negatives: Broken cabinet in room, dirty bed skirt and snobby hotel concierge.
