The hotel was fine, the room clean and the staff helpful enough. The light in the bathroom was too dim and there were no sundries available for sale in the hotel. I needed headache medicine but had to go across the street to get it. The beds were a bit hard and need to be included in any plans for upgrades.
Positives: Size of the room, size of the bathroom, and the TV.
Negatives: Walls were thin and could hear conversations in the next room, fan on a/c would only cycle on and off.

Very expensive looking in interior. Friendly helpful staff. Large nicely decorated rooms, and very comfortable beds.
Positives: It was way more than I really expected.
Negatives: There was nothing I didn't like.

My room was directly above the bar and was never advised there would be loud music Friday night. I as well as my two kids were awake until 2 am because of that. I asked to sleep in another room but they said I would have to move everything when I called at 1 am. If there was an open room just let me sleep there, not make me move all our stuff which was not organized at 1 am. Not happy.
Positives: Good service.
Negatives: Not accommodating when there was a problem.

We've stayed at this hotel a number of times, and we like the location and the hotel in general. We're always visiting our grandchildren when in the area, and they typically come by one time to use the pool. The temperature of the water is always too cold, and the shower in the pool area is ice cold and barely works.
Positives: Convenient location with modernized room and helpful staff.
Negatives: Breakfast brunch was weak, not much variety. Hotel pool was only 70 degrees, too cold to use.

I love the Holiday Inn. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Anything that is needed or requested is done very timely and pleasant. Decor in the hotel and rooms are stylish and comfortable. The hotel does need to address the internet problems in the rooms as this is the 3rd time I have stayed at this hotel and have had persistent internet problems.
Positives: Great location, great room and very friendly and helpful staff.
Negatives: Internet was very slow, need to get a new server, kept logging me off several times a day.

Staff was courteous and friendly, room was clean and available immediatly. Although I was warned it would be loud due to traveling sports teams staying there, I did not have any issues. Restaurant staff was excellent. Parking was easy. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.
Positives: Convenience.
Negatives: No issues.

The hotel was fairly convenient to my destination, and was both clean and comfortable. The one thing that stood out in a negative way was the breakfast lounge in the lobby. Although the food was tasty and hot, it took quite a while for the waitress to get around to taking my order. Two guys who sat down after I did had to leave because of the wait. But this was the worst part of the entire stay.

Positives: The bed was quite comfortable.
Negatives: There was a long wait for breakfast at the lobby breakfast lounge.

Well, all was great. Friendly staff, eager to help us find things to do with the family. The only thing I found disturbing was the drinking glasses in the bathroom were never replaced. It was in the bathroom sink and put them back on the tray in the bathroom. I'm not sure how well I trust that. I went out and bought plastic.
Positives: Staff was friendly and helped us find places to take the kids.
Negatives: Well, there was make up stains on one pillow case and they didn't replace the glasses in the bathroom they just washed them in the bathroom sink.

Nice, friendly hotel. Kids loved the pool and we appreciated the large whirlpool. Bedding was fresh and the pillows were fluffy.
Positives: Lobby was very comfortable - nice atmosphere.
Negatives: It had everything but a small refrigerator and no towels at pool in evening.

This is an ok place to stay overnight, but really nothing special. Also, if you're in the area to access Chicago, this is really quite a distance out.
Positives: Free parking and internet.
Negatives: Kind of plain & older looking inside.

The hotel was very comfortable and friendly, but I found in the shower, the water was coming out of the tap as well making the shower less powerful. Everyday using my computer I would get booted from the internet due to the hotel's server. Very distressful.
Positives: Convenient location, good size room, friendly staff.
Negatives: Smoke room with the smell of smoke still in the room, fridge I ordered had duct tape as the shelving in the door was not there.

Positives: The pool and Jacuzzi were very big.
Negatives: Bennigan's food wasn't very good.

Clean, convenient, helpful, friendly staff.
Positives: Close to interstate.

Person at the front desk was very friendly. The rooms were spacious. Did not like the smell of the rooms. My dad's room smelt the same. Carpeting needs updating.
Positives: Easy to get to, bathroom was clean.
Negatives: Smelled bad, carpeting needs updating.

This is a decent facility but the staff seems a little overwhelmed though nice. We had a no smoking room that had recently been smoking and they have tried to freshen. It was clean but there were a few cigarette burns in the rug and it still had a little too much of a patina of stale cigarettes.
Positives: Large, fairly clean rooms.
Negatives: Room was next to noisy elevator.

It was a very nice hotel, I would recommend it for business travelers, and families passing through. It's a great location if you want to avoid staying in Chicago overnight. It's not too far out, yet you don't feel like you're in a cheap outer city hotel. We were pleased.
Positives: I liked the large, spacious room size.
Negatives: I called both the front desk and room service trying to get cream for my coffee, and neither of them would help.
