This hotel was adequate, nothing more nothing less. For business travel it gets the job done but is neither memorable nor off putting. If the goal is to simply provide a guest with a place to lay their head at night, and a little nourishment in the morning, then they succeed. But if they are looking to get repeat business, a little more effort will be needed.

After staying in the Marriott several times I cannot find anything negative except that it does not have a bar and a full service restaurant. The staff is competent and friendly, the rooms and public areas are clean. Wireless internet is free throughout the hotel and coffee is available all the time with fresh cookies served in the afternoon.
Positives: Quiet -microwave and refrigerator in the room.

Hotel is very clean and a short distance to Six Flags and Chicago, so great location. Room was comfortable and clean. Free internet was nice, but paying for breakfast was a major disappointment.

No elevator for the second floor but room was clean. The in room movies are a total gouge. With new technology for movie viewing the price reflects taking advantage of a bored consumer. Shower could use more water pressure.

The hotel is on a major street for Deerfield, IL and there are two Courtyards within 1 mile of each other. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Beds were fantastic. The two QRM held a rollaway with plenty of room left. If coming from O'Hare, use GPS. Maps were worthless in locating the hotel. Only a 20-minute drive to Northwestern University. I will stay there again when I go back. BTW: No elevator, so I f you hate climbing stairs, get the 1st floor.
Positives: Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great example of a Marriott property.
Negatives: There are two hotels that look like twins within 1 mile of each other. Easy to confuse.

informed us upon our arrival late at night that the pool/hot tub would be closed until the day we leave that's six days Traveled with 3 teen-age sons temperatures very hot in area! Front desk told me I should have been informed of pool closure when reservation was made. I also called THREE times prior to confirm res. and was never told and I even asked about ALL amenities!! Manager Scott Dresmel was extremely rude to me as were all front desk employees. I also received several insect bites EACH night in the crevices of arms and knees. Upon check-out I had breakfast charges and local phone charges that had to be credited as we NEVER ate breakfast there and I was told they saw me in line so they charged me!! I Found that to be HUMILIATING Never ever again will I choose a Marriott.

Beautiful enjoyable the fact coffee available all hours clean warm pool ideal for relaxation wait till my next trip it is also a Courtyard by Marriott. Ask for a room overlooking the gardens, if available.

The hotel was very clean, for the price it was exceptional. I wish they would have had maps to guide you to top attractions and local eateries. Also a complimentary breakfast would have been great.

For the price, this was a great value. Rooms were clean & BEDS very comfortable. Not to far from anything, great location. I will recommend this hotel to friends & family. Not ONLY for business travelers in my opinion... Thank You Marriott...
