The staff was great, very friendly and helpful when asked for dining suggestions in the area.

Nice hotel in good location close to great restaurants and shopping. Smaller bathrooms and expensive parking, but would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

It was hot, the air did not work good and it had a bad smell in the room, and the people did not try to help you when I ask them what<BR/>should I do, they could not help me I had to go to another hotel to get what I need and when I put in my bid I ask for a 4 star and you give me a 3-1/2star that is not right

Overall our stay was very good. Room was not quite as nice as the lobby area. Elevators were fast! Pool was a nice bonus for a Downtown hotel. It is small, but wasn't crowded. The hotel staff was very helpful and answered all of our questions.

Positives: Concierge was very helpful. Close to shopping and bus stop. Friendly staff and quick check-in and out.

Negatives: Room could have used a remodel. Sink had a crack, lampshade was old and yellowed. Maid service was not as crisp and clean as I would have expected.

The reception and valet staff was very friendly and accomodating. The lobby bar was very busy, although I can't see the attraction. I waited too long to get a drink and ended up just leaving. Luckily there are many, many other drinking establishments in the city to choose from.

My husband and I were thrilled at the hotel we booked through priceline.com. It exceeded our expectations - especially for the great rate we landed! Would definitely love to stay at this hotel again. Bed was comfortable, nice sheets &amp; pillows, classy hotel.

The place to hang out during the day or at night. Plenty of elevators so never a wait - plenty of space for the guests to spread out. Starbucks, snack bar, and bar all in the lobby. Appeared to offer free internet in lobby, also! Discounted parking. Beds were awesome! Location can't be beat!

Excellent location and price was very good. Unfortunately lifts were a nightmare and took on average 10 minutes each time. Was very noisy and crowded in the lobby too.

you could do self parking for $33 a night. The rooms seemed updated with nice bedding. The food seemed very expensive at the hotel.

We have stayed in MANY Marriott Hotels all over the world and have stayed in this one before. The lobby was very nicely renovated as were the rooms. The major drawback - cockroaches crawling all over the counter during the night!

Location, customer service, room - all excellent. The room was not quiet as it was located by an elevator. They demonstrated excellent customer service as they took care of the problem in a timely, professional manner. They couldn't move our room, but they complimentary breakfast, which was excellent!

The Downtown Marriott was supremely clean and well furnished. Staff was extremely helpful in finding restaurants and locating transportation. The pool and spa were beautiful and clean and Starbucks in the lobby was greatly appreciated.

Had a problem with a toilet which clogged; initially staff unable to repair; up much of one night waiting for staff person to go back and forth with equipment. Finally got to bed at 5:30 am; also price of parking ($45 a day plus tax).

We love the location - walking distance to EVERYTHING was great! Tons of dining around and shopping. Train to Wrigley only a block away too. Room was a bit smaller than I had anticipated but beautiful and comfy and still nice!
