This hotel is great if you are going to shop downtown Chicago I would not recommend going for the indoor pool which that is why<BR/>I picked this hotel there is no way anyone can stay in the pool area for more then 10 mins the chemicals they use are way to strong.
Positives: The hotel was clean everyone was friendly.
Negatives: The pool had way to many chemicals in it we could not stay in for longer then 10 mins.

The hotel met all my expectations for a woman traveling alone on business. It had a safe entry place for me to drive in with my car. There were all the conveniences one would expect in a suite. The breakfast was excellent! I would come back to that Embassy Suites hotel.
Positives: Convenient to downtown, priced right, felt safe. Excellent breakfast.
Negatives: Neither key-card worked first time, had to return for new key-card: Only found one TV remote for 2 TVs.

This hotel is in a fantastic location - 2 blocks to Michigan Avenue and Navy Pier.
Positives: I liked the 2 room suites, mini fridge and microwave and the location.
Negatives: I did not like the long waits for breakfast and cocktail hour and the unavailability of tables.

Very accommodating staff, fabulous breakfast buffet, close to stores and navy pier.
Positives: Great breakfast buffet. Very accommodating, very friendly and helpful staff.
Negatives: No WiFi in the room.

Had room with view of the city. Not having quiet neighbors was quite upsetting. The tub water did not drain quickly, so you stood in water to take a shower. But the towels were nice and big. The bed was comfy and clean. I liked the rate we got for being a hotel downtown and included free drinks and snacks was nice. Breakfast buffet was a large selection and good food.
Positives: Liked free drinks, breakfast buffet, and clean comfy beds.
Negatives: You could hear conversations with the paper thin walls next to you.

Great location and value for the price. I would definitely stay there again!
Positives: The complimentary breakfast and happy hour. Size of room was great!
Negatives: The atrium was load.

If you are traveling with family or business, this is an excellent pick at a good value. Nice rooms, complimentary breakfast, daily paper, and friendly staff. I would not recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway or if you require hotel luxuries like fluffy robes and cozy restaurants.
Positives: The front desk staff was excellent-inviting, warm, and accomodating.
Negatives: Family friendly, so a little loud. The bathroom had a mildew odor, but appeared clean.

The Embassy Suites was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay on our recent vacation. It was so nice to be right downtown, within walking distance of shopping and many restaurants. Our room was very spacious and had a nice city view. The breakfast was simply amazing - a great way to start the day! We would definitely come here again and will recommend Embassy Suites to our friends.
Positives: Spacious room, nice view, delicious breakfast, close to everything.
Negatives: Parking cost a lot, internet access cost extra.

The ONLY negative about this hotel is the open atrium concept tended to be a bit noisy during evening cocktail hour.
Positives: Location was great! Very clean and comfortable rooms.
Negatives: Lobby was not on ground floor but not a big problem.

Our stay at the hotel was such a pleasant surprise. The only negative about our room was that the bed was full size, not queen. However, the magnificent view of lake Michigan from our window - which we could look at from the bed - more than compensated. The food on the breakfast buffet was very good and there was a nice variety of items from which to choose. But, the scrambled eggs were powdered and tasted absolutely horrible. The buffet lines would move much quicker and more efficiently if service was from both sides.
Positives: The location of this hotel is very convenient. Our room had a fantastic panoramic view of Lake Michigan. The atrium was beautiful.
Negatives: We felt that the parking garage rate was extremely high and its entrance was not well marked.

Excellent location and amenities, particularly the breakfast and manager's reception.
Positives: The proximity to the gold coast area.
Negatives: Chlorine smell in lobby area from pool.

Nice rooms, indoor motel style was not nice. Free breakfast was nice but crazy crowded.
Positives: Rooms comfortable and clean.
Negatives: All rooms opened up to main area, almost motel like.

The breakfast is great and the suite nature of the rooms is great. The location is great. parking is $40/day.
Positives: The extra room away from the beds.
Negatives: Needing to take 2 elevators to get to rooms.

Negatives: NA

This hotel is very nice when traveling with small children because of room set-up. It was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Located close to Michigan Ave and the shops there.
Positives: Good location and very friendly staff.
Negatives: Lobby is on the second floor and the bell captain and cab on first floor.

Great location for family access to tourist sites and Miracle Mile shopping. Staff friendly and helpful, rooms large and comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. Very close to Navy Pier and Dick's Last Resort, 2 blocks away from bus routes and shopping, across the street from a grocery store.
Positives: My husband and 2 children, ages 7 & 10, enjoyed the big breakfast each morning and the glass elevators. The suite was clean and comfortable.
Negatives: Visitors were not allowed to use the hotel luggage carts if they were self parking.

Nice facility, good location, convenient room layout, but needs attention to cleanliness. The complimentary breakfast is very good in both taste and variety, but get there early for the tables fill quickly.
Positives: Beautiful view of harbor; location close to Navy Pier; within walking distance of Magnificent Mile; convenient layout in suite.
Negatives: Cleanliness was below par (stained comforters, dirty coffee pot in room, ring of dirt around inner pool rim).

Great location. Free evening happy hour was a nice perk. I would stay here again for those 2 reasons. However, this hotel is very family-friendly, which was very annoying since we were not traveling with kids. There were too many kids in pool/hot tub, even at 10:30pm and we couldn't even get in. Also, there were loud kids in the room next to us, and also rowdy kids running up and down hallways, etc. Fridge in room did not work (door was broken), and toilet flush handle was broken.
Positives: Free Happy Hour, location, hotel room was spacious.
Negatives: Too many kids in pool/hot tub, we were not able to use either. Loud kids in next room.

The hotel was great, well priced, comfy and well located, I will never forget that night.
Positives: My girlfriend and I had an awesome anniversary there.
Negatives: There were no wine glasses.

Was very disappointed in how drinks were served in evening and also snack foods.
Positives: Excellent location.
Negatives: Not nice as most embassy suites are.
