Large, clean room, WiFi free, Outdoor pool.

Positives: Close to Perrine Bridge. Restaurants nearby.

Negatives: No breakfast included.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sun 26 Jun 2011 rated 2 out of 10.

Not a 3-star by any means. Truly is a Days Inn with nicer wallpaper. Smelly, dumpy. Uncomfortable beds. The owners of this hotel have definitely given up.

Positives: Lots of parking.

Negatives: Stinky, smelly, and smoky.

After seeing the reviews from others, I was a little concerned about the hotel but it is the one that accepted our bid. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had a lot of luggage so requested a room on ground level and were quickly accommodated with one close to an exit. Staff was friendly. Walls are thin so you do get some noise but overall our experience here was very positive.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Can't think of anything.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 24 Feb 2011 rated 9 out of 10.

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms, had some issues w hot water and plugged toilet, staff responded quickly and took care of it. Room had no fridge, but when we asked they brought a fridge and microwave right away.

Positives: Staff responded very quickly and positively to our requests.

Negatives: This hotel advertises heated pool but does not mention it is closed in winter. Real disappointing for my kids!

This hotel was fine for what I'd expect at a 2-star hotel. It was no where near as nice as other 3-stars I've stayed in. It's a bit dated, which is fine, but it smelled funny and showed signs of wear and age, like peeling paint in the bathroom from mildew and a crappy TV. No continental breakfast is kind of a drag too for this type of hotel. It was fine, just not what I expected for the star level and compared to its competitors.

Positives: Good location.

Negatives: It was not a 3-star level, dated and smelled funny, dingy, no free breakfast.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 14 Jan 2011 rated 10 out of 10.

Very comfortable and affordable.

Positives: The priceline price was excellent. Comfortable bed.

Negatives: Didn't have free breakfast.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 07 Jan 2011 rated 8 out of 10.

Fine hotel for short stay. Good price on priceline.

Positives: Price was good. Hotel staff was very nice. Room was adequate.

Negatives: The door leading to the outside allowed cold air in - ice was on the door.

Would not recommend this motel to anyone.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Not a three star.

Although the front desk person was nice enough, and explained that they couldn't do anything about our situation, I believe there should be something done. It was extremely late when we got back to our room, and had small children already sleeping, so it was impossible to exchange rooms once we noticed the toothpaste smeared all over both beds. we managed with what we had in our car for extras, but were very put off by the cleanliness. The bathroom also was not cleaned properly, as we woke to take showers in the morning, we noticed hair all over the tub like it hadn't even been cleaned to begin with. definitely wouldn't pay to stay there again!

Positives: Looked nice, staff nice enough.

Negatives: Dirty rooms, beds, baths...... definably would not pay to stay there again.

This is a 2 - 2.5, perhaps a 2.5 in summer when the pool is open. The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. It would be more helpful if the evening staff (night auditor) could be more verse on options for later evening food and drink. Restaurant was a nice setting for breakfast.

Positives: WiFi, front desk staff, Flex on check out time, quick & cheap breakfast buffet, free papers, room balcony gym.

Negatives: No elevator, pre-millennium linens & pillows, TV, furnishings, No pay TV, pool/Htub only summer, wrong star rating

First room I had there was no hot water. The traffic on the road the hotel is on is ridiculous. Red lion charges $5.99 for 15 minutes of internet service. The hotel bar is very nice however but doesn't change the fact.

Positives: The hotel bar was nice.

Negatives: $5.99 a minute for internet with credit card.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 16 Aug 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

Over all did not meet standard of Red Lions we had stayed at before.

Positives: Location of room on first level.

Negatives: Lack of bath towels and floor mat in bath.

We were generally happy with it. The only complaint was that one maid did not understand English well. We were able to make her understand after we made motions. They were all very friendly. The manager was especially nice to us. He was more than helpful.

Positives: The manager was especially accommodating. We enjoyed our overall stay. It was centrally located. Easy to get to.

Negatives: It is quite old and we did not have a microwave or refrigerator at 1st. Last few days we were able to have a refrigerator. Maids did not speak English.

Good in a pinch. Nice location. Staff not very friendly, room smelled but the beds were comfortable. The heating/cooling system was very loud.

Positives: Nice lobby.

Negatives: Carpets were rather soiled and smelled.

I
was fortunate to stay in this lovely hotel. The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect.
I slept like a rock and was ready to hit the road again first thing in the morning.

Positives: Friendly staff and easy to locate.

Negatives: Nothing.

Good friendly service. Went out of there way to take care of us.

Positives: Exercises facilities.

Negatives: Pool was not indoor.

The hotel in general was nice. I liked the fireplace in the lobby. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Having a continental breakfast (which is provided at most hotels now) would have been nice. Since this is an older hotel, the bathroom was not as nice as I hoped it would be. It looked like it had been remodeled, but there was still mildew or discoloration stains on the tub grout. Showering in there wasn't a problem.

Positives: It was centrally located, so I was able to get where I needed to go without much problem.

Negatives: The hotel was rated with 3 stars - I think it is more a 2 star facility.

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 23 Sep 2009 rated 7 out of 10.

While the beds are wonderful after a day of driving, the pillows were small squares as opposed to the normal rectangular shape which interfered with side sleeping. Furnishings okay but not worthy of a 3 star hotel, plus the fact that refrigerators not available. The price was great as accepted but I should have bet on two star where more practical amenities would have been the norm. Red Lion Inns have other locations that are far nicer than this, the bed was the only 3 star item they offered. Staff was friendly but not very helpful in suggesting dinner restaurant, and did not even up-sell their own hotel restaurant, which I thought was odd.

Positives: The beds were extremely comfortable and general location was perfect.

Negatives: Needs updating, soundproofing, staff more positive about surrounding area.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sat 29 Aug 2009 rated 7 out of 10.

Nice, quiet and convienient. Near good resturants and shopping.

Positives: Very quiet

Negatives: Room was not thoroughly cleaned. Trash still in cans and toilet dirty. Very uncomfortable pillows

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 25 Aug 2009 rated 10 out of 10.

I was impressed with the quality of this hotel, as well as the reasonable price.

Positives: It was easy to check in, and the room was better then expected.

Negatives: The computer availible for guests was hard to use and had dangerous information miners operating.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 24 Aug 2009 rated 2 out of 10.

Will not recommend this motel to anyone!

Positives: Nice outdoor pool.

Negatives: Room was hot, A/C didn't work, front desk clerk not very helpful.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 04 Aug 2009 rated 7 out of 10.

Housekeeping service was slow. Room was small but nice. Not very many cable channels. Nice pool. Room was stuffy- hard to control the temperature.

Positives: The pool was nice, bed was comfortable.

Negatives: Not enough towels, had to ask twice for more towels. Very stuffy even with air conditioner.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sun 12 Jul 2009 rated 9 out of 10.

Friendly staff. Shoshone Falls were fantastic!

Positives: Comfortable bed, lots of pillows and

Negatives: Road construction on street in front.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sat 04 Jul 2009 rated 7 out of 10.

Was satisfied with this room but was still somewhat disappointed as I had higher expectations from this hotel chain. Have stayed at other properties owned and operated under this chain that had cleaner, much larger, overall nicer rooms and better parking at virtually the same price. The street construction tried one's patience but that will be over someday. No refrigerator, coffee-maker or microwave. Would stay again but only at or less than the price I paid on this stay.

Positives: Location and value for price I paid.

Negatives: Room's living area and bathroom were small. Bathroom smelled mildewy.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 25 Jun 2009 rated 6 out of 10.

The TV didn't work. one channel, no sound. Called the front desk. They said let it warm up. Offered to give us a different room, but way on the other side of the hotel after we've already moved everything in. Asked for a discount instead, no such luck. Other than that that place was acceptable.

Positives: It was quite and the bed was very comfortable.

Negatives: The TV did not work and no discount was given for the lack of a functional TV.
