Holbrook is a community in western Oneida County, Idaho. Holbrook was settled in the late 1890s by residents of Mendon, Utah and surrounding areas who were drawn to the area due to the availability of land to homestead. Named for its first Post office, Judge and Mormon Bishop, Heber Angell Holbrook, it lies at the intersection of State Highways 37 and 38, approximately 25 miles west of Malad City, the county seat of Oneida County.

If you are travelling in the area, Holbrook is located close to Curlew Valley Reservoir, Lonigan Springs, Salyer Cow Camp, The Meadows Divide and Harwood Canyon.
