The hotel was hard to find at Stone Mountain Park. The rooms were very old, dark, small. It smelled when you walked in the room. It was an awful experience and we were all disappointed, all 4 of us if it wasn't already paid for, we would of left. Would never stay there again.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: I was disappointed that it was a Marriott Hotel. Would not expect this poor quality from Marriott.

The inn was 2 1/2 stars but it was great staff was nice courteous, we rented a small room not paying attention on the web and they immediately gave us the best they had, without a price increase. Buffet was fabulous, the view was spectacular, I am a resident of stone mountain, so I was looking for somewhere close to my old home, since I am in the process of relocating, I was aware of the beauty but we were blown away by the totally above board staff! The rooms were extremely large, unlike an equal facility.
Positives: Large rooms excellent service get food, upgraded to a larger room with charging us, or us asking them to.
Negatives: Old fashion, as far as visible dumpsters, but really no dislikes.

I had business in Atlanta and didn't want to do stay Downtown. It took about 30 minutes to get to and from the hotel but for one-third of the price of Downtown and the enjoyment and beauty of the park it was well worth it. One time payment of $8 to get into the park but free thereafter. And of course, free parking.
Positives: Rooms were large.
Negatives: Outside entrance.

Very friendly, courteous staff. Room was well laid out and spacious. I have already recommended it to everybody I have talked to since I have gotten back. I am also planning a return visit in 3 months to the same hotel.
Positives: Within close walking distances to everything!
Negatives: Short stay, I wanted to stay longer!

I was place in what had to be their worst room. I requested something better but they said that they were full I walked the Inn and found several rooms available. I complained and I wasn't until the next morning when one of the staff members moved me that changed my outlook of the experience. I did have to wait until 4:00pm the next day to get into my new room which was what I asked for. If I had not been so upset I do not think they would have moved me. I wish there was away could have got my money back. I would have gone to a motel 6, because I was not happy. Bad experience.
Positives: One of the staff members helped me out on the second night. She made the stay better.
Negatives: It was not what I asked for.

Clean room but desk was in bad spot. I did not like paying for internet. Only one restaurant and only served buffet. Bar was never open. No nightlife at all.
Positives: I liked being in the park.
Negatives: I should not have to pay for internet access.

We were traveling with children. However, when we arrived they found double beds in handicap room which was probably a suite size room. Fantastic experience other than roach on the wall when first checking in.
Positives: Room was Marriott quality and very large spacious room.
