Very nice accommodations. The breakfast was not great. Next time I will eat in one of the City Market cafes.
Positives: If I needed something, someone was there to help at that moment. Very helpful!
Negatives: I had a room facing Bay Street and I thought the sound of the cars and trucks would keep me awake, but they didn't.

Enjoyed our time in Savannah. The location and convenience of the hotel was great. One of the concierge and one of the valet were very helpful and appreciated.
Positives: 4 poster bed.
Negatives: 12:30 fire alarm for false alarm.

We were robbed while our Honda Pilot was in their secure garage. We objected leaving our keys with the hotel, but were assured by the valet attendant that our vehicle would be locked and secure. The hotel says we cannot prove the stolen items were taken overnight. Further, according to the parking ticket, the hotel is not responsible. We were told to file a police report and claim the loss on our homeowner's insurance. Tough luck and a $25 parking fee was the bottom line!
Positives: Great location, clean rooms and friendly staff.
Negatives: Beware of having your stuff stolen in their secure garage!

Very lovely!
Positives: Staff was great, bar was open late.
Negatives: Mandatory valet parking was annoying when we had to get into the car several times a day.

The restaurant was very clean and the waitress was very nice, the concierge in the lobby was very knowledgeable about the local tours, everyone was very nice. The rooms were clean and roomy, the bed was very comfortable.
Positives: The associates were very helpful and knowledgeable.
Negatives: There was not a BIBLE in our room.

The hotel was clean, and the room we had was nice. No mini bar, and if you wanted any snacks you had to shop before you returned to the hotel. The gym was good. I worked out 2 of the 3 nights we were there. The only positive was the gym.
Positives: Room was clean, no fresh lines until the 3rd day.
Negatives: No mini bar in the room.

Upon arrive, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean but very basic; the room was humid but we thought nothing of it since most hotels only use the fan when the room is unoccupied - we turned on the air - medium then went to bed. The room never cooled, we turned the air on high and it still never cooled and the humidity remained very high (about like it was outside). The TV was out of color and the shower curtain would not stay closed - or open to one side, the rod was bent and the curtain now hangs over the toilet. I felt these might be excusable until I asked about checking out early because we were unable to sleep due to the high humidity and warm temp in the room. The front desk apologized and questioned why I didn't have engineering come fix it last night (I assume she must have felt it wasn't that bad if I didn't complain sooner). I then informed her about the vomit in the elevator when she explained it has been there all night. When I asked her to repeat that, she said well, it's been there for about two hours, we'll have house keeping clean it up when they arrive in about an hour. I don't know about you but I can understand equipment failing but for someone to have an attitude like that
Positives: The parking staff was the most friendly and helpful.
Negatives: Front desk (morning) did show concern for customer's experience.

Room was very clean. Staff was helpful, providing concierge service in the lobby. Pool and hot tub was fine, clean and under-used. Very relaxing stay, very convenient to everything in the Historical District.
Positives: I liked the helpful attitude of the staff. The chocolate chip cookies were awesome at the front desk.
Negatives: I did not like that I had to use and pay for valet parking. I would have appreciated having enough parking.

Nice sized room, convenient to pool and fitness center front desk staff was nice location was great - just on the fringe of historic district so a little less crowded but right near the restaurants of City Market - concierge was not helpful at all - did not know about a major event going on in town and asked me to get info for her we are not sure because it may be random insects in the area but we believe that there were bed bugs in the room - we did not bring this to the attention of the staff so do not know how they would have handled it.
Positives: Location was perfect.
Negatives: Bed bugs.

The hotel was in a great place, most of the staff was super helpful and very nice. Great concierge. My biggest complaint is that my price was not honored upon check out and that they more than doubled the regular room cost because it was a holiday. More than doubled the cost!
Positives: The location was great.
Negatives: Felton the front office manager.

We enjoyed our stay at the Double Tree in Historic Savannah. The only issues were the shower curtain rod was about to fall off, the bed was too firm for our liking and the room was very small. We had a great view and the hotel great atmosphere. We would recommend this hotel.
Positives: Location, decor, parking.
Negatives: Room size.

The concierge was very knowledgeable the location was good the parking for 15 a night was steep the Hyatt was only 12 a night.
Positives: It was a good location.
Negatives: We had 4 people staying they kept giving up 3 towels and 1 night no washcloths at all it took 3 call to get washcloths and more towels.

Probably Will Not Recommend To Anyone.1. On Arrival I Had To Unload My Vehicle.2. Ice Machine On My Floor Inop. The Reaction Of Main Desk Was To Go To Another Floor For Ice.3. Soda Machine Not Taking Bills. Reaction Of The Front Desk Was The Same.4. The One And Only Bright Spot Was John Fitzpatrick Concierge.
Positives: It had free internet.
Negatives: Constantly Had To Call For Linen, Staff Could Not Count.

The DoubleTree in historic Savannah was first-class all the way. The staff was helpful and accomodating. The $13.00 per night parking fee was not mentioned prior to arrival, but was worth it.Highly recommended.
Positives: Great location, great facilities.
Negatives: $13.00 per night valet parking

We liked the fact that it's a smaller hotel (only 6 stories). The room size is more than adequate (2 queen size beds & still room to move around).
Positives: the size of the room & bathroom-including counter space in bathroom.
Negatives: House coffee is Starbucks, neither one of us is a Starbucks fan.

This hotel could probably be one of the best I have gotten. There was absolutely nothing this hotel lacked from the staff to the room to the location.
Positives: The location was excellent and the staff was very professional
Negatives: nothing
