The lobby had an old world charm about it. Friendly staff. Rooms were very clean and all amenities one needs were taken care of. The beds were excellent. Breakfast was good, the coffee was great - Royal Cup one of the better brands.
Positives: Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast and friendly staff.
Negatives: The Wi-Fi was not as good as one expected, connection drops at times.

Not worth the money at any price.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Very old not well maintained, rust came out of all faucets.

The overall quality of the hotel was fair at best.The complementary breakfast was adequate and service met my expectation for a two star hotel.
Positives: It was close to the interstate and food venues.
Negatives: There was pungent odor that remain in the room throughout the course of my stay.

There is no way that this hotel should be classified in the same category as a hotel like the Crowne Plaza in Macon. And for the same price??? This hotel should cost much less and be placed in a lower rating category. The Crowne Plaza has so many more amenities than this. And, after staying at the Ritz Carlton the night before in Atlanta, it was extremely dismaying to say the least. The staff were very friendly and tried their best, and if I didn't have to stay for business I wouldn't have stayed at all. I am seriously considering booking directly with the other hotels in the area to avoid such surprises.
