Jekyll Island Club Hotel
Jekyll Island, Georgia
Jekyll Island Club Hotel is a hotel located in Jekyll Island.

Subsequently abandoned, it was meticulously restored in 1986, and returned to its original elegance, from the lofty towers to the encircling verandas. Now a world class resort for your next vacation, getaway, retreat or meeting. A landmark to experience

They should let people know in advance that cell phones don't work there. My husband had unimportant conference call (overseas) so we had to leave the Island in order for him to participate in it.
Positives: We've been here several times and have always enjoyed our stays.
Negatives: They were renovating, painting etc. and the smell of paint was strong, no pictures in room. Cell phone did not work.

Great hotel, we would go back for sure. It was pricey but worth it when we saw the other hotels in the area. Make sure you check out the Sea Turtle Rescue located behind the parking lot, it is fantastic!
Positives: Beautiful setting, close to everything, loved the Cafe.
Negatives: They painted our door while we were inside and didnt tell us. Loud housekeeping made it hard for my son to nap.

Nice, but overpriced. Staff was courteous, but not friendly. Rooms too small for the furniture included and extremely crowded for the advertised number of occupants.
Positives: The location was good.
Negatives: Rooms too small for the price charged.
