For starters the receptionist was rude. The hotel room was very small and cramp for a Suite. The sink was falling off the wall and half the lights were missing in the jacuzzi area. The headboard was also falling off the wall and the bed was very hard. The ceiling fan which I almost hit my head on was covered in dust built up like its been there forever, like 1/2 in thick. None of the plugs would hold my charger in, kept falling out. When we told the receptionist that the room was falling apart he tried to play it off like they just had it checked out.
Positives: They moved us to another hotel.
Negatives: Everthing

This hotel is located very conveniently in Helen near the main strip, but the room was less that I expected. The first thing I noticed was that there were fruit flies living in the sink/coffee maker area and they did not go away during our stay. The room was in the back of the hotel and usually pretty quiet at night time which was nice, but it was also very humid all the time and had a moldy smell to it. They also really need to invest in some new mattresses! One thing that I can say was good was the front desk man. He was very friendly and polite!
Positives: The front desk man was nice.
Negatives: It was dirty.

The front desk clerks were very nice and helpful. Since my wife prefers to clean the room herself, except for replacing towels, housekeeping did not have much to do. It would have been nice if the pool had been open, but it wasn't clean. We would stay there again.
Positives: First room not clean and was given another room immediately that was nice.
Negatives: Had a slight problem with gnats, housekeeping did not speak very good English.

It was ok for the price & our short stay. We needed a microwave & a refrigerator. I wouldn't stay there on an extended vacation.
Positives: Location and front desk person.
Negatives: The bathroom was filthy & It had gnats flying around.

I always stay at Days Inn in Helen GA. I am always pleased with my stay there. I am always greeted with a pleasant smile. I have never been there when the place was unclean. I notice that every time I go there the entire staff is cleaning and doing something to improve the Days Inn. By the way, the coffee there is great.
Positives: The courtesy of the staff, and how clean the rooms and grounds are.
Negatives: No negatives I can think of.

We love to visit Helen GA. and go there often. We feel like we are at home when we stay at the Days Inn. The people are very nice and courteous, and the room is always clean and neat. The continental breakfast is very refreshing in the morning.
Positives: The Homey feeling. The atmosphere in general.
Negatives: None.

The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance to most of the town attractions and dining. Good for a very basic no frills one night stay.
Positives: Friendly and helpful hotel staff.
Negatives: Poorly maintained bathroom, dirty floors baseboards and walls.

If the price was right I would return otherwise I would spend a little more and stay at a nicer hotel. If need something cheap and convenient this is the hotel for that area.
Positives: The price was fantastic for the time of year and distance from town.
Negatives: The breakfast was horrible and neighbors were loud at night.
