Pool is freezing even in middle of summer. Old fixtures, perma dirt in tiles, etc. A bit bad.

Positives: Location is great.

Negatives: Bathroom was out of date with crumbly tiles. Meals incredibly expensive. Old TV.

Parking was difficult and expensive with no room in the Valet parking, the room was dirty and noisy, the bathroom was poorly equipped with a leaking shower and poor water pressure.

Positives: It was close to some places I wanted to visit Downtown.

Negatives: Parking was difficult and expensive, the rooms were dirty and noisy, the bathroom was poorly equipped with a leaking shower and poor water pressure.

Good for staying Downtown next to Georgia Aq and Coke museum. But there are better hotels near Centennial Park.

Positives: Clean, and

Negatives: Parking 30$/night. Rip off. Was valet but way too expensive.

The Hyatt in downtown Atlanta is conveniently located. The staff is very helpful. There is a refrigerator in the room which is a plus but you need to pay for internet access. There is a food court next to the hotel with a variety of fast food and wifi.

Positives: Convenient location.

Negatives: Under going construction.

I booked this hotel through Priceline as a 4-Star hotel. When I arrived there were people hanging outside the hotel. Although it is in the downtown area, the people hanging out did not look the part of guest at the hotel. It took a while before the valet attendant was able to register us to park our car. There was construction going on inside the hotel, thus very little ambience. It is definitely not a 4-Star hotel at the moment.

Positives: I liked the price I paid through Priceline.

Negatives: The cost of Parking, Food, Internet, Speed of Service

Needed updating-The room had no refrigerator and no flat screen TV. The bed was good and the shower was OK but the bathroom needed updating. Overall, I was disappointed on the 4 star rating of the motel I have stayed in 3 1/2 star and it was much nicer.

Positives: Great atrium/lobby.

Negatives: Not updated they were in the process.

The hotel has seen it's day. It might have been 4 stars in the 70's, but that ship has sailed. The building is dated and tired. The rooms were dirty and grimy, the floors in the bathroom were comparable to a hillbilly gas station. The place was not worth the money. They soaked you for everything, like $29.95
per night
for parking, and $12.95
per day
for internet. The bellhops
had to carry your luggage from the car-ridiculous!! I was very unimpressed with the way they nickel and dime you. A 4 star hotel offers amenities, it does not charge for every little thing. The fitness room was fantastic, better than a high priced gym. The location was unbeatable.

Positives: Location was excellent, right in the heart of Atlanta.

Negatives: Price to park $29/night, Internet $13/day, nickel and dime to death, staff looking for tips at every opportunity.

Wonderful and
beautiful hotel. Pool towels were better, thicker than room towels. Check-in easy and quick.

Positives: Awesome workout facility and

Negatives: Room towels were cheap, thin, more like rags, skywalk from parking deck closed on Saturday & Sunday.

I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.

Positives: This hotel was a great value for the price. It was located conveniently close to all of the attractions that we visited during our vacation.

Negatives: The only thing I didn't like was the size of the bathroom and even though it had been remodeled, the bathroom still felt old.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sat 18 Jun 2011 rated 4 out of 10.

Not kid friendly! There are no kid friendly channels on TV. They want you to pay $6 for 45 minutes of a cartoon! I had to call 3 times before someone finally brought me a crib. The website says heated pool but the water was so cold my children were blue and shivering and we had to leave. Had problems getting my key to work to get in to the pool and had to tote my 3 kids back the desk to get it fixed. I was not impressed with the renovations at all. Its all the original rusty sinks and bathtubs and old doors, it still looks old. It was clean though and the staff was friendly. I likes the locked parking garage and valet but for $29 a night and a tip every time I get my vehicle I better like it! Needless to say I was not impressed and won't be going back!

Positives: It was clean and in a good location.

Negatives: No kid channels on TV, freezing swimming pool, and called 3 times for crib.

2 star its horrible. Expect the worst because thats what you will get. I'm not a negative person but
I can not believe they called this a 4 star hotel. Not even close.
Positives: Not one thing it was horrible.

Negatives: Bathroom, room, parking price, local call price, wifi charge.

Centrally located near aquarium and other sites.

Positives: Spacious.

Negatives: For the star rating that this hotel is it needs 2 queen beds in room.

Very small cramped room. Outdated fixtures. Bed bugs. Uncomfortable mattresses.

Positives: Cheap room.

Negatives: Bed bugs.

I loved the location. The connection with the Motar Train was excellent. There was almost no need for a vehicle.

Positives: It was beautiful, accessible, friendly atmosphere, enjoyable, and clean.

Negatives: Nothing

The bathroom was moldy and the both the quantity and quality of towels was less than satisfactory.

Positives: Location was great.

Negatives: Mold, dirt and parking fees.

Within walking distance to the Aquarium.

Positives: Close to the Aquarium.

Negatives: Refund / cancellation policy.

The food in the restaurant was good and I like the 24 hour deli area. The hotel was undergoing renovations at the time of my stay and therefore a lower level room floor was not available. Although the room decor was nice and clean, the rooms seemed small, and there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room and the cost of the bottled water supplied in the room was $6.00 which I believe to be expensive.

Positives: I liked the location of the hotel.

Negatives: I did not like the fact the there were renovations ongoing and therefore we were not able to get a lower level floor and the rooms seemed small.

Huge convention during the stay resulted in never-ending noise and huge crowds in lobby and elevators. Sat down for dinner and waited 15 minutes while waitress chatted with a customer at another table. She never acknowledged that we were there. Got up and left.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Super noisy.

This would not be my preference for a hotel in Downtown Atlanta. The room amenities are updated, however it is apparent that this is an old hotel and if you look closely at the grout, etc., it is evident. I had a room with a balcony and that was a HUGE plus as I am a smoker, but it was outweighed by the $27 a night parking, and the cost to eat. If you choose to have food delivered, the company is not allowed in the building, so you have to leave your room and go outside to meet them. Not the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, but not my favorite.

Positives: Location

Negatives: Parking, food service.

Hyatt is a customer-savvy and friendly hotel. There was a can-do attitude at every level of service. The handicapped-accessible room was well equipped and easy to navigate. The total experience was extremely pleasurable.
Positives: Excellent staff, professional, courteous, and they went out of their way to be helpful.

Negatives: Room lighting.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 14 Dec 2010 rated 7 out of 10.

Convenient

Positives: Staff

Negatives: Parking $27 per night and no other option...in-room dining was far too expensive...and no breakfast included.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location was excellent and the staff for the most part was very friendly. The parking garage was full and we were not told until we had waited for sometime in the Valet parking area. We had to go up the street to park. The hotel was very nice and had every convenience.

Positives: Very friendly staff, Excellent location.

Negatives: Very strange room layout. Bathroom light shines through to the bedroom waking partner.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 07 Dec 2010 rated 5 out of 10.

Liked it except for being awakened 40-50 times in the middle of the night when the heat came on. It made a very loud clanging sound about every 15 minutes or so when it would come on. Didn't sleep well at all!

Positives: Room was nice.

Negatives: Every time heat kicked on, it made a very loud noise waking me up all night.

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 01 Dec 2010 rated 5 out of 10.

This hotel is close to a lot of attractions. The overall room was not nice at all. There were holes in the towels, the bathroom had rusty fixtures, the doors was ratty, the oldest
TV on the planet not a flat screen. Which is a must for a 4 star. Not to mention it took 30 min just to go down stairs for a coffee. It was has very loud. Room service was also very over priced plus $27.00 to park.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Ran down.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 15 Nov 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

Beautiful hotel that is getting old.

Positives: Put us on Regency Floor with free breakfast.

Negatives: Took 45 minutes to deliver luggage to room.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 29 Oct 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

I had a decent time there -- nice staff, conveniently located near train, clean. But that price demands an amazing experience and it wasn't. I was also disappointed about their lack of green practices. I saw no clear signs of encouraging people to be green which I know is hard to do in general. Anyway, when I approached the desk about it, the person kinda dismissed me. Anyway, I left after two good nights and went to the Holiday Inn where I didn't have to pay for Internet service.

Positives: It was centrally located.

Negatives: They weren't very green. And elevators were awful! It literally took me 15 minutes to get on after checking in.

Hotel was just below my expectations. Staff was friendly and efficient. Bathroom was small. Room was clean. Lobby was not very attractive. It felt like an airport terminal.

Positives: Located in the area I wanted to be in.

Negatives: Lobby/check-in area was bare. No warmth to it. Bed not comfortable.

The Hyatt Regency Atlanta was amazing! It was so clean and beautiful. The equipment at the Fitness Center was very high tech and fun. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was in the perfect location and luxurious.

Positives: I loved how clean and beautiful the hotel was.

Negatives: It did not have an indoor pool.

The beds were comfortable, but nothing like others I had stayed at that were 4 star. The only reason I would call it a 4 star is because of its location. It was perfect for me being at the Americasmart.

Positives: Location

Negatives: A hotel should never have 2 Fulls instead of 2 Queens and they had just remodeled.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 20 Jul 2010 rated 2 out of 10.

This is not a 4-star property and if you place a bid for this level of hotel in Downtown Atlanta, you will probably end up here. When we checked in, the desk clerk gave us a room in the "Radius Tower". She said the the "main hotel" was booked. To get to the room, you basically had to leave the hotel walking towards the Mall entrance and then up a small elevator to your room (not one of the glass elevators in the main atrium of the hotel). When you open the door to your room you will be amazed to see the "World's Smallest Hotel Room". No room for a dresser or a closet. No room for your luggage. The only flat surface is the desk which is also the nightstand. The bathroom is 34" by 46" with only a small shower - no tub. Your view is of the side of an old office building.

Positives: There really is not much to like. It was quiet.

Negatives: Bathroom shower had mold.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 19 Jul 2010 rated 6 out of 10.

The hotel itself is nice and very conveniently located. I would not recommend a room in the tower. Our queen bed room was there and it is very small. The worst feature of this room is a window from the bathroom that shines light into the bedroom making it impossible for one person to continue sleeping if someone is up and in the bathroom.

Positives: The location and the fitness center.

Negatives: Our room was in the tower and the design of the room was horrible.

My stay at the Hyatt was a great one. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Positives: The location was perfect for a leisure weekend and the motel was awesome.

Negatives: The pool didn't stay open long enough at night.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sun 11 Jul 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

The hotel accommodations were fantastic. Friendly and courtesy staff. Our only regret was on the location (looked like it was centered in the business district part of Peachtree Street).

Positives: The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Coffee shop is open 24 hours.

Negatives: Being located in the business district. But, we were leisure traveling, ideal for business.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 09 Jul 2010 rated 6 out of 10.

Hotel was excellent for the rate. Staff was very friendly and helpful the day of check-in. Rooms very clean.

Positives: Spacious, modern and clean guest rooms.

Negatives: Parking fees.

Very nice hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and spacious. Could not find anything wrong, except that you have to pay $27 a day for parking. Which this price is not listed on the hotel's website. Would be helpful, especially to those traveling on a budget. Also, the concierge was not exactly the most helpful on directions and for any deals on attractions in the area. Pretty much said here is a map, and here is where the places you are looking for are at. Other than those minor issues, a nice hotel to stay at.

Positives: Very nice & spacious room.

Negatives: Parking fee.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 02 Jul 2010 rated 10 out of 10.

This hotel is very nice. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and would recommend this hotel to everyone. The room was really nice, but could use some updating with the TV and maybe a new bathroom door, but other than that no complaints. The hotel has a check in/out kiosk so you don't have to wait in line to check-in, which
I thought was awesome. Some complained about valet parking prices, but that is what I usually pay for valet in Atlanta so it didn't bother me at all. Concierge staff is awesome need directions to Wal-Mart, and they had printed out directions already ready for most locations around Atlanta leaving from the hotel.

Positives: The hotel is connected to a mall.

Negatives: Hotel need some updating with its' TV and some bathroom doors.

Nice hotel in a good location, however parking was expensive and they didn't even bring your car up front. You have to go down and get it every time you want it.

Positives: Priceline price for room.

Negatives: 27 dollar a day parking fee.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 17 May 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

Overall this hotel was great! The room was quite large and very comfortable. However, the bathroom was dingy if not a little dirty. One of the towels also seemed to be dirty.

Positives: Staff was soooo nice!

Negatives: Bathroom / towels were dirty. TV was small.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 30 Apr 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

Room was great, plenty of outlets, very nice. Staff was friendly and accommodating. This was a great place to stay.

Positives: There were plenty of accessible outlets in the room.

Negatives: Valet parking - was kind of forced on you, but less convenient than self serve.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sat 17 Apr 2010 rated 10 out of 10.

The hotel is very near many downtown attractions, and the public spaces are dramatic. There should be a self-parking option, however, for those who wish to come and go at will. The price for parking is also very expensive.

Positives: Beautiful rooms and public spaces.

Negatives: At the mercy of high parking fees.
