Overall a nice experience although parking was high ($35 per night) There was a party going on the second night in the room next door and they would not be quiet. Security finally shut it down around 5:00 am and they compelled us a breakfast. We did not use the pool because the location does not allow any morning sun and we had plans for the afternoon & evening.
Positives: Good view, convenience to city & CNN center also good.
Negatives: No coffee/cappuccino after 9:00 pm. Thin walls.

The Omni is a great hotel if you are interested in staying close to downtown activities. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are very nice. Beds are comfortable. Another nice feature is you need your key to access the elevators to the rooms. This is a little extra security in a downtown setting. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying with them again on our return visit.
Positives: Hotel staff was very friendly. They took the time to answer any questions we had.
Negatives: Parking was $30 a night.

I told the staff as I was checking in, that it was my girlfriend and I's anniversary for 6 years being together. She congratulated us, and treated us with great hospitality. I just wanted to say thank you again. She also sent a happy anniversary card to our room along with champagne to celebrate our anniversary. I was blown away. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody. Even the president of the United States if he asked me, "what would be a great place to stay in Atlanta Georgia." Thank you Omni Hotel for making a great stay!
Positives: Exciting, people friendly, treated me well.
Negatives: There is nothing I did not like!

The room they put us in was dirty. It had dust every where. There was no free wifi, no complimentary breakfast, $30 parking fee. I will not return to omni hotel again. The only thing I can say good about this place is location to attractions (Phillip stadium, Georgia dome, Georgia aquarium, coca cola world).
Positives: It was close to Georgia Dome and Coca Cola World. it had restaurants in the
Negatives: Room was not like pictures. i have stayed in 2 star hotels that were better., room had dust, no free wifi, coffee cream was bad(solid).

I enjoyed everything about my stay at this hotel except the children running around the halls and the valet parking. The TV in the room was old and needed to be upgraded. The TV did not match the rest of the hotel. I did expect the parking and some of the valets and bell boys to be more courteous and professional. Everything was nice until I checked out and got my car back. My car, which I take such delicate care of, was dented and the paint chipped. They were supposed to call me to take care of fixing my car and they have not. I would stay at the hotel again because of location, but would not drive a car I cared about.
Positives: Everything except valet parking and children running rampant through the halls yelling.
Negatives: Valet parking. Dented my car and chipped my paint. Children running around hotel halls yelling. TV in room was small and offered minimal channels.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were extremely friendly. The hotel was in a great location and it was a beautiful hotel. We also enjoyed looking at all the CNN things.
Positives: This hotel was very easy to get to and convenient to local attractions.
Negatives: Restraunts closed too early. The valet parking was pretty pricey at 30.00 a night and not really any other parking options.

Hotel was convenient to attractions. Room was hot even though the thermostat was in room. The pillows on the bed were not firm at all. The view from the window was beautiful. We had a park view.
Positives: Convenient to all attractions in Atlanta and there was a lot to do in hotel.
Negatives: The way the valet parked our car when we left and the room was hot shower was dirty.

I would recommend this hotel. It was in a good location. It was beautiful. I did not expect to have to pay $30/night for parking. There should have been space for parking for hotel guests without charge.
Positives: It was in a wonderful location, comfortable, friendly, clean, and etc.
Negatives: I thought the charge for parking was a bit much.

The furniture in the rooms was worn out, the beds were very hard and I feel that they tryed to cover this up by putting pillow top mattress covers on the beds. Room service trays were left in the hallways overnight and made the place smell like a diner.
Positives: The view
Negatives: Bar in check-in lobby, noisy : old room service trays in hallways.

Staff was extremely accommodating and would recommend this hotel when visiting Atlanta.
Positives: Staff was extremely accommodating. Food court and the CNN tour.
Negatives: Parking was difficult to locate unless already been there. Room service still came to room even with privacy sign on the door.

Hotel was beautiful, staff was friendly and accommodating. The proximity to Phillips Areana and the CNN center can't be beat. I would definitely stay here again on future trips to Atlanta.
Positives: Friendly staff, beautiful decor and proximity to CNN center.
Negatives: No microwave or fridge in the room.

The location was perfect for what we needed but other than that nothing special at all. $ 30 a day for parking, $13.50 for breakfast at their little café, uncomfortable bed and pillows, very thin walls (you could hear every opening and closing of doors), nothing special in the room to distinguish it between a 4 star and a 2 star. Would stay again but only if not driving this time.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Charged $ 30 for parking, no breakfast and thin walls.

The overall hotel was good. The rooms were just ordinary rooms, no more than a comfort suite room.
Positives: The location was great for what I was there for.
Negatives: The rooms were ordinary. Nothing special.

Positives: The staff was excellent. They made sure that I had the room that I requested, king bed and all.
Negatives: Not a thing comes to mind.

The hotel was nice and had lots of conveniences. We went to a concert at Phillips Arena, and it was nice to have restaurants and bars in the hotel. It was nice to walk over to the arena and not have to worry about cabs before and after the concert. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only complaint we had was the noise level at night, it was hard to sleep. I will stay there again.
Positives: Good location for attending concerts at Phillips Arena.
Negatives: Rooms are very nice, but very noisy, didn't sleep well.

I have stayed at the Omni at CNN Center several times. Each time it has been consistently clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient to the Americas Mart. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Positives: Cleanliness and convenience.
Negatives: Logistically a bit confusing at first.

I enjoyed my stay very much. Maybe next time, they will figure out that on New Year's Day there's going to be a lot of people trying to leave at the same time. Maybe they will staff the Valet Parking accordingly next time.
Positives: Location - Was able to walk wherever I needed to go.
Negatives: Valet Parking - I had to pay $25 to wait in line for over an hour to get my car!
Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 07 Jan 2008 rated 8 out of 10.
All of the above positive ratings. However, the valet parking situation at check-out was the worst ever. We waited in line for our vehicle for 1hr and 45minutes! No apologies from hotel staff, apparently this occurs every time there is an 'event' in the Downtown Atlanta area. Should be a computerized system in place which would allow guests to stay in their room, lobby, etc, and wait (in comfort) to be notified that their vehicle is available. Rumor in the long wait line was that vehicles were parked all over Downtown, not just in hotel garage. The fee for so called 'valet' parking was $25/night, way too pricey for the service provided.
Positives: Walking distance to GA Dome (Chick-Fil-A Bowl).
Negatives: Valet parking at check-out was incredibly pitiful!

We attended the Peach Bowl in Atlanta and were able to secure this fine hotel in short notice (within walking distance of the game). Can't believe the price for the location.
Positives: Great location in downtown Atlanta.
Negatives: Parking a little cumbersome.
