Fox Den Country Inn is a hotel located in Umatilla.

The Fox Den has been owned and operated by Muriel and Ron Fox since 1986. It consists of a 1954 renovated motel, which has six kitchenettes, four small rooms, and an upstairs two bedroom/one bath apartment. Next door to the motel is “The Tyler House,” (named for their son), which is a 1925 refurbished five bedroom/two bath home. Located south of that house is “Karla’s Cottage” (named for their daughter), a 1909 renovated five bedroom/two bath home. Both are used as weekend or weekly rentals. You can walk down to our large adjoining lake lot to the dock on Lake Umatilla, where you can relax, fish, and enjoy a waterfront setting.

We are the last town south of the Ocala National Forest near Alexander Springs.
