It was very nice, cute and comfortable.

Positives: Decorated nicely.

Negatives: I had a dirty pillow mishap and they put me at the end of the all by a squeaky ac unit.

Except for a few minor things, this hotel was beautiful. Excellent value for the price from Priceline. It was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly.

Positives: Rooms were extremely clean and constantly well kept as well as the rest of the hotel.

Negatives: The rooms did not include free WiFi, or a refrigerator, and room service was extremely expensive.

Relaxing, colorful and in a wonderful location.

Positives: Location to International Plaza and Bay Street, Mediterranean decor, attractive pool.

Negatives: First room, AC was broken. Moved three rooms down, valets unhelpful with luggage.

This hotel was great. It is at the International Plaza although you would have never known you were so close to a mall. The rooms were very quiet and faced the courtyard. Staff was very helpful with every request.

Positives: Very helpful staff.

Negatives: Loved everything.

This hotel was one of the nicest I've ever stayed in. Everything was beautiful and very clean. It was a very relaxing atmosphere...peaceful and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Positives: The hotel was extremely clean and decorated beautifully.

Negatives: I loved everything about it.

Have liked the Renaissance since my first stay one year ago. I was disappointed with the Internet situation; it used to be free, but now they charge for<BR/>everything - browsing, printing, faxing, etc. This is my only complaint about the hotel. Other that hat, it is a great play to relax.

Positives: Scenery.

Negatives: Used to have free access to internet and printing services in business center. That is not the case now.

Clean, pretty, and comfortable!

Positives: Nice rooms and excellent room service, especially for the kids.

Negatives: The swimming pool was very generic; nice, but nothing special.

My husband and I took three days to spend time with my daughter who lives in Ybor. We stayed at this hotel and were very pleased. The beds were great and the hotel was beautiful. It really felt like a 5 star hotel. The people were friendly and actually gave us great directions for fish and chips outdoor on the water place for lunch. Loved it.

Positives: Loved the price and the way you could get to the mall without leaving the building.

Negatives: Nothing. I saw some bad reviews before I went and I don't know what they are talking about.

Great hotel and I would recommend to anyone.

Positives: Absolutely lovely hotel and great staff at the front desk.

Negatives: Nothing.

Because of a missed connecting flight, we only spent 5 hours at the hotel. The room was well appointed, the bed very comfortable and the drapes blocked out the sun so we could sleep. I would love to come back.

Positives: The room was very comfortable and well appointed.

Negatives: we got in very late (actually the next morning) and could only get one hour extension on the check out time.

This hotel is in a nice area of town. It is close to an upscale mall with lots of dining choices. I also like the fact that it is easily accessible from all the major highways. Everyone was helpful and the facility was clean.

Positives: Centrally located, clean, nicely appointed.

Negatives: The parking is not very convenient-valet very expensive.

Great hotel if you want to stay next to an upscale mall. Otherwise, stay at the Intercontinental.

Positives: Decent bar and bar menu/food.

Negatives: Self parking was ridiculous; rooms tacky; walls thin.

Very nice hotel adjacent to what looks like an upscale shopping center. They have a restaurant that claims to be the place to "see and be seen". I didn't see it, but there were several well dressed people and couples who were coming and going from the Blue Martini room at 1:00 am, so I guess it is the place to be in Tampa. If you are looking for an airport hotel in Tampa I think this is the only 4 star hotels there is. Otherwise it is hard to find from the airport and not really that close.

Positives: Beautiful upscale hotel that looks brand new.

Negatives: It wasn't easy to find or near enough for me to consider it an airport hotel.

Location good/ however for a 4 star hotel expected bigger rooms. Linens and towels were like razor blades. No Minibar or fridge in case of leftovers at diner. Vending machines empty. So you have to pay more in hotel convenience store if you want to call it that. In order to buy something you have to ring a bell and wait for service. Don't even start me with the ridiculously high and hidden hotel taxes (occ?) like $50.00 a day. You could not pay me to stay there again.

Positives: Good location. that's it.

Negatives: SM outdated rooms/sm bathrooms/no frig/old TV.

The lobby area, grounds, pretty much everything looks new and upscale. Quick check in. The hotel is adjacent to International Plaza shopping mall and a short walk to restaurants and entertainment options. I didn't use the pool/hot tub but when I checked out the area it was clean and not crowded on a Saturday afternoon, of course crowd levels vary. The hotel room was very quiet with almost no sound making it in. Very nice, I like the Grand Hyatt in Tampa a bit better than this hotel, mostly due to the parking situation, but I wasn't disappointed either. Of course, I could have sprung the $16/day for the valet parking and been done with it. There are so many ways to spend money near this hotel it seemed silly to waste it on the valet though. For you business/conference planners. There were several conferences going on while I was there. There was abundant staffing and nice setups on the tables. The courtyard is great with seating groups spaced nicely. I would enjoy staying here again.

Positives: Very quiet and nice location at least 10 dining options w/in walking distance.

Negatives: No fridge or minibar in room, long walk if you park own car.

This hotel has old world ambience with European elegance. The service is warm and friendly with a true desire to serve and to please. It is a remote paradise nestled in a modern, fast paced shopping and eating environment. It transports you to a fantasy of comfort and luxury.

Positives: It was lovely, professional, friendly, and absolutely wanting to make the stay great.

Negatives: The Shrimp was over-cooked.

Terrible service from check in where they gave me a room the exact opposite of what I had requested to check out where I had to jump the curb to get out of their parking lot due to a malfunctioning gate that they wouldn't send someone to correct (they made me late for a business meeting). The room is tiny and the bed average. No WiFi The room service, however, is great even when they send up something you didn't order. Also, the bathroom has nice style, though is small.

Positives: The location attached to the mall.

Negatives: Service was incompetent and poor; room was tiny; bed was average; technology was poor.
