This hotel is cradled in a poor part of Tallahassee, w/closed down, graffiti ed buildings all around. We worried about our car's safety in the parking lot. The rooms face the street, which was quite loud. Cars hovered around the area, blasting their radios well into the early hours of the morning. The interior of the hotel felt safe, but the minute you step outside, it's a totally different world.

Positives: Inside the hotel was a lot better than being outside of the hotel.

This facility was a delightful surprise. Our daughter is a student at FSU and we have stayed several places but somehow missed this one which is so close to campus. The room was gorgeous, loved having a sitting area for visiting with daughter and friends. Breakfast nice. Didn't get to use workout room this time but saw it and it was very nice, same with pool. I highly recommend

Positives: Beautiful, new facility. Decor was gorgeous. Free breakfast very nice and so convenient to FSU.

Negatives: Front desk clerk was unfriendly, didn't really have much interaction with other staff.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfast buffet. Lovely hotel. Great for what we needed.

Positives: Spacious room, beautiful decor and comfortable king bed.

Negatives: The location on 2 sides is rundown. The side that faces the campus is lovely.

The location was convenient for my visit but not in a very good part of town. We were originally placed in a 1st floor room with a lot of road noise. After requesting another room, we were moved to the 2nd floor where traffic noise was still present though not as bad. Our view from both rooms was of the gas station across the street, though I think the only "good" view at this hotel would be of the parking lot. There's a free breakfast but the area is small and there were no tables available. For the price, this hotel was worthwhile, but I've stayed at other Residence Inns that were much nicer with friendlier staff.

Negatives: The &quot;bellhop&quot; was dressed like a gangster a little scary-looking, and the front desk personnel were not very friendly.

This was an amazing hotel! The rooms were huge with a full kitchen (dishwasher, stove, microwave, fridge...everything!) And it all seems brand new! The location is great and the staff was very friendly. I can't believe what a great deal this was for the money! Definitely felt like a 5 star hotel!

Negatives: free breakfast! wish it was served later than 9:30am.

Excellent location for our purposes, close to FAMU and FSU. Good room size, nice hot breakfast, free parking, in the heart of the capitol.Nice size kitchen which includes a full size refrigerator and a dishwasher.

Positives: Excellent location, convenience, good room size, and hot breakfast.

Negatives: Elevators were slow and too few, more / larger common facility bathrooms.

Hotel is located downtown. The rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated.

Although I liked the kitchen in the room and the room was pleasant enough the bed was very hard, the staff was very rude. When the first room we got had a bed in it that was unmade and the room was not cleaned they didn't even apologize just said try this one. The breakfast was excellent so if the staff was more accommodating the experience would have been<BR/>much higher.

Positives: Kitchen in room, breakfast.

Negatives: First room we were sent to the bed was slept in and the room had not been clean, The staff was not friendly or helpful.

The hotel is attractive with great room layouts, however the beds were too hard and the location was in a shady part of town. The location was great as far as convenience to Florida State University, however it did not feel safe.

Positives: Suite style room layout.

I really liked this hotel. I was right down the street from the college (FAMU), the breakfast was above standard, and the room was quite spacious and updated.

Positives: The room was fully equiped from bathroom to kitchen.

Negatives: The tub was not cleaned out properly.

Hotel was very comfortable and suites were impressive. Bed was extremely comfortable with luxury level pillows and look. Staff was very friendly. Location is within 1.5 miles from FSU and Capitol. We experienced none of the problem with noise or sirens in the evenings. We were very pleased with the hotel and would highly recommend it to the business and family traveler.

The hotel is very well taken care of. The staff is very friendly &amp; accommodating. They took off the movie charge after I explained the trouble I had with the<BR/>TV remote.

Positives: Rooms are very nice.

Negatives: The TV remote is very confusing ordered a movie by mistake &amp; could not delete.
