Cracked walls, rotten carpets, exposed rusty nails in front of our room. Worst experience ever.

The Hotel is a low-budget hotel with a fantastic location, with a few upgrades it could be wonderful, but without air conditioning with the temperature fluctuations in the shower and the rooms in need of an upgrade (even a fresh coat of paint would go a long way) this hotel needs quite a bit for me to want to stay again.

Positives: It was very close to the beach, practically on top of it.

Negatives: There is no air conditioning so the rooms get VERY stuffy.

This hotel was all right as long as you are not a person who expects the best for nothing. I thought the rooms were clean, staff very nice and helpful. This is an old hotel but good for the price and being right on the beach.

Positives: The price was right, the beach was great.

Negatives: The parking.

This hotel is in a great location, the rooms are comfortable, it was clean, personnel were friendly.

Positives: It was next to a beautiful beach and very comfortable.

Negatives: Couldn't control air conditioner.

I really enjoyed it. The pool and access to ocean were great. Many nearby stores, restaurants and activities.

I would consider staying here again. It is old & physically not well maintained. But the price is good, staff is helpful & it is right on the beach. And is conveniently located between Miami & Ft Lauderdale, with a good public bus system within 100 yds.

Positives: Cheap price, with helpful staff & it is beachfront.

Negatives: Shabby looking, but I've seen worse (cuz I'm cheap). To clarify a bit-it is clean, but just in need of renovation.

Too far from airport. Hotel has not airport transportation from airport.

8 dollars to park your car each day is not good, hotel looks ok until you get inside, would not recommend this hotel; some guests were allowed to frolic in the pool at 3.00am.

"Art Deco" does not mean disrepair. This hotel had high "resort" fees. It did not have a resort amenities. This hotel falls way below expectations.

Great location on beach from but need allot of upgrades. TV wires were old channels were unclear, no internet capabilities, poor parking area.

Quiet place in a great location. Hotel staff is welcoming and professional. No surprise concerning the quality and price level of the room. I would recommand this hotel.

Beachfront hotel with nice pool in great location. Resort fee and parking fees charged by hotel were not disclosed but on $16.00 so I just paid it.

The beach was really nice the reception when we arrived was not. the lady that checked us in was snotty and since we were a couple she could not flirt with my husband. she took 20 min to check in the men in front of us.

This was the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. I am so upset my girlfriend paid over $100 per night for that crap. It was ridiculous. I knew it the moment we got there and the staff didn't even have her name on the CPU. Then I used the bathroom downstairs and it was nasty. The hotel really needs to be shut down like the motel we faced (there was nothing in it). The worst thing was having to take a shower after my girlfriend and there old was water in the tub that was up to my calves because the drain was clogged, and the sink. When you go to wash your hands the cold water side is like it chokes and spits water out. I think there was at least of 2 minutes of that before the cold water came on. The room service girls would just try and walk in the hotel.

Positives: There was nothing that struck my attention! oh there's a walgreens across the street.

Negatives: Dirty, water in tub gets clogged, cracks in walls, TV sometimes works, walls are too thin, room service tries to open the door constantly, its nasty.

My biggest complaint against the Travelodge Monaco is that this Motel surprises you at your departure with a bill for what they call incidentals, the use of poolside lounge chairs, delivery of a daily newspaper and parking which they fail they tell you about when you register.

Positives: Located on the beach and reasonably priced.

Negatives: No individual air conditioning units and has the feel of a retirement home.
