I was not impressed. The hotel smelled bad as soon as I walked into the lobby. There were a few things in the room that did not work properly. I really expected more from this hotel chain and was disappointed at the appearance. The staff was somewhat friendly. The breakfast buffet was not impressive. I will not stay there again.

Positives: Comfortable bed.

Negatives: Smelled bad. Drain in the tub was broken. The iron did not work properly. Was too expensive for the quality.

This hotel was nice. Close to airport. It was within a shoort driving distance of the beaches and attractions of Sarasota. The rooms were redone and nice. The pool is small but fine and it did have a small hot tub. It has a breakfast restaurant but it is not free. I would stay again.

Positives: Spacious rooms and nicely redone.

Negatives: No free breakfast.

The hotel was recently renovated and it was obvious. The appearance was appealing. The walls seemed thin, I was awaken by yelling and laughing from a large party staying the night. I know something like this was outside of the hotel's control. I was disappointed the hotel did not offer free breakfast since so many hotels in the area offer something. The room also did not have a mini fridge or microwave in the room.

Positives: Newly renovated.

Negatives: Did not serve free breakfast.

Overall, very satisfied. Room was large and cozy. Big disappointment with the spa/whirlpool - the water was not hot, barely warm and the water coming in was cold.

Negatives: Spa was not working. Outside was cold water coming from nozzle.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I found the staff to be friendly and courteous. The room was very clean and all amenities were included. The location is convenient to the airport and all major highways. I will be traveling to Sarasota every two months and will definitely try to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel itself was pleasant enough and the staff was excellent. Parking was ample. There was a charge for breakfast which was disappointing. The room lacked microwave and refrigerator.

Positives: It was convenient to Ringling Brothers Museum.

Negatives: Bed wasn't comfortable, no refrigerator or microwave, our room was in front of ice machine - very noisy all night.

Typical of the Courtyard by Marriott with no surprises. The rooms are clean, the room atmosphere is comfortable, the AC does a good job and is reasonably quite - but central AC would be better. The noise level from rooms above is a bit excessive especially if the person above you paces back and forth with a heavy step - I was about to call the front desk and inquire about the pet elephant policy.

Positives: Clean room, comfortable beds and atmosphere.

Hotel itself was nice; rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Good business hotel. It is near a very poor neighborhood. You will need a car to access the trendier part of Sarasota.

The hotel is in a decent location. However, the hotel is very quiet and the staff was exceptionally friendly.
