Me and my boyfriend stayed two nights since we were going to Universal Studios. The location was excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the hallways and room were clean. We also got an excellent price from Priceline.com. I would recommend this hotel to others who don't want to spend too much, but would also like a nice room.
Positives: The room and hallways were very clean.
Negatives: One of the phones in the room were broken, and also the television keyboard was not functional, and the bathroom is outdated.

Room was large and the decor was great, even gave free bottled water. I did not care for the smell, it was like they were trying to cover up smoke or something. The lobby looked like a cheap Vegas room and the night staff acted as if they just came off the streets and were given a job, not professional. Difficult to find an ice machine that worked. Overall the value was worth it, if I paid more then I would be upset.
Positives: Nice rooms, great beds.
Negatives: Room smelled funny, night staff not the best, lobby looked like a cheap Vegas hotel

This was a dump until it was remodeled - now it is very acceptable and the staff does a terrific job.
Positives: Just remodeled.
Negatives: Too many kids.

We had standing water in our room from a faulty air conditioner. When we contacted management they came to our room and told us there was nothing they could do to help us since we booked through priceline. Very disappointing. We have used priceline on many occassions and never had a problem like this.
Positives: Location
Negatives: Room quality, management, food

Close to Universal Studios with the ability to walk if not traveling with young children.
Positives: Proximity to Universal Studios.
Negatives: Too few shuttle runs to Universal in the evening.

The building is easy to spot when you're driving around town so it helps if you're not familiar with the area. The staff was always friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean. We had HBO and free WiFi which was nice. The kids had a good time at the pool.
Positives: Liked the free WiFi access and that you needed a key to go up the elevator, that made me feel my family was safer.
Negatives: The lobby area was pretty small, didn't see a little convenience type shop/store in the hotel, that would've been helpful.
