Clearly catering to the convention crowd (Adults). No real complaints, other than the weight-sensored snack food placed at kid-eye-level. I mean, really?
Positives: Proximity to Disney World
Negatives: Wght-sens food@kid-i-level.

Great hotel, especially with a family. We could see the fireworks from Disney from our balcony and the pools were fantastic. Self parking was a very long walk through the convention center. They offered a shuttle to the garage, but it could not accommodate a stroller. Overall, we loved it and would go back again.
Positives: The staff was amazing! We were traveling with three young children and they bent over back wards for us.
Negatives: Marriott sells timeshares in the lobby. They are a little pushy.

Very nice hotel. Large, luxurious spaces with all necessary amenities within. Plenty of dining options ranging in price (moderate to very expensive, no "cheap"). They have scheduled activities for kids near the indoor pool (great idea; we only got to take advantage of<BR/> "make your own keychain"). Water in indoor and outdoor pools was cold even though heated. Stayed here to surprise my wife with trip to spa; that experience fell short of expectations (especially taking cost into consideration). Despite minor complaints, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return in the future.
Positives: Very luxurious and all-encompassing.
Negatives: Pools were heated, but water still too cold.

I stayed here with my husband and loved this hotel! Everything about it is huge, from the pools to the hotel itself and in a good way. We had tons of fun and stayed for four days. I was able to enjoy a round of golf on the lovely course and recommend the same to everyone. We enjoyed food from the hotel and other local restaurants. We liked how the hotel was close to shops and major roads. There was a convention going on during our stay, but it did not seems to have an effect on staff, who was pleasant.
Positives: Loved the pool, spa, and gym. Enjoyed golf, restaurant, and staff.
Negatives: Starbucks closes too early. I need my coffee!

Huge, very well appointed resort with lots to do.
Positives: It was located near Disney.
Negatives: Valet only parking, $22.
Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 03 Feb 2010 rated 6 out of 10.
Watch out for the $23 a day parking fee! Also all TIPS are included in Bar and food. They do not tell you this.
Positives: Cleanliness.
Negatives: Poor response to needs.

A very nice, spacious hotel with well appointed rooms. Not as family friendly as you would expect given its location 2 miles from Disney World. Excellent breakfast buffet, with Mickey Mouse Pancakes for the kids, and Mango and Papaya on the fruit bar. Housekeeping was borderline aggressive, knocking on our door both days at 8 AM so be sure to put out the Privacy sign. Valet is quick, and a must, parking lot is a quarter of a mile away.
Positives: Beautiful lobby.
Negatives: Housekeeping knocking on our door both days at 8 AM.

I have stayed at many Marriott's from resorts to Courtyard's and this one I was disappointed. I may have expected too much so that might be the problem. The staff was very nice and the hotel was pretty. I thought the rooms were old, we couldn't get the double stroller out the door without closing it up! It was a maze to get to the pool, and things at the hotel were VERY expensive. We spent more in one night at this hotel than we did two nights at a different resort.
Positives: The pool
Negatives: The price of everything at the hotel.

This hotel was excellent. It had a great mix of dining, activities, atmosphere, and amenities. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. It have stayed here twice and I would return again and again.
Positives: Great atmosphere and not located in a congested area.
Negatives: Did not like the trek to and from the parking lot.

Very large hotel but felt safe with gated parking lots. Parking is extra. They brought a refrigerator & hideaway bed to the room for free, (but the hideaway had springs that were very uncomfortable). One day there was water in the bathroom floor when we returned, but it was repaired fairly quickly. Overall, a very pleasant experience. The landscape was just beautiful!
Positives: Great pools. The main one is huge! Plus another large, quieter pool
Negatives: The bathroom was

This was a nice hotel, but it was very large. The pool was very crowded. There were no chairs to be found.
Positives: It was convenient and the pool was large.
Negatives: Very crowded and no chairs at the pool.

This is a great hotel for business travelers. Terrible for families. The pool slide closes right after check in. The staff couldn't possibly be ruder. The rooms are unusually small. The beds aren't as comfortable, but the friendly staff and spacious rooms more then make up for that.
Positives: It was clean and convenient location to Orlando attractions.
Negatives: Very rude staff, small rooms, pool slide closes right after check in.

Large resort. Parking garage far from hotel rooms. Have to park in garage and then call for parking shuttle to take you back to your room (and parking costs $13!). No hotel restaurant or bar open after 10 (only room service is available). My room was dirty - spots on toilet seat - hair in shower. Bed very comfortable - room was quiet - more adult oriented.
Positives: Comfortable bed.
Negatives: Parking far away - room was dirty.

Overall the hotel was nice. It is conveniently located near the resorts. I am not sure I would recommend this hotel for a family vacation as it appeared to cater more towards business travelers and conferences. Rooms were clean, but a little dated.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Rooms were dated, not a vacation hotel.

Overall I was very impressed.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Rooms seemed to be a bit older.

The room cleanliness and views were excellent. The parking garage is so far away from the hotel, that they have to have a shuttle (which is inconvenient).
Positives: Extremely clean rooms, excellent location, beautiful view of Orlando.
Negatives: Hotel help line not helpful, the parking garage is so far away, they have to have a shuttle, assigned an already occupied room.

The room we were in had no refrigerator or microwave.
Positives: Very clean.
Negatives: Very expensive food.

The hotel is very busy. They do not offer free travel to the parks. Parking is crazy. I will never stay there again. My mini bar in the room did not work and I called many times to have it fixed and no one came to fix it for the 5 days I stayed.
Positives: NA.
Negatives: I did not like that the hotel did not have free travel to the parks - $60.00 both was per day per park was crazy!

This hotel is horrible. It is purely meant for conventions. We wanted to spend a long weekend sitting around the pool. It was closed for the convention as well as the pool bar. We had a hard time finding a place to eat at 4:00 because everything was closed for the convention. The food we did eat made us sick and we ended up in bed the rest of the night. The bed linens did not fit the bed. The people were rude and the rooms were not clean. We left the next day. In short this is a convention center! Not a resort.
Positives: Didn't like anything.
Negatives: Disliked everything.

I would recommend this hotel to any family member or friend. I will request this hotel again.
Positives: The restaurants and greetings.
Negatives: All is very good.

Good resort to bring family. The pool area was great and had fun slide for kids. Rooms were a very nice size and pleasant looking. Good location to go to either Magic Kingdom or Universal, not to mention the Premium Outlet for real good shopping.
Positives: Large pool with fun slide for kids.
Negatives: Self parking was 1/2 mile away.

The hotel room was expensive. For what was considered a "resort" facility next to nothing was included in the price of the room. Consequently, I had to pay for parking, internet service and the bottle water they placed on the dresser of the room. Transportation to the Disney park was not included but cost the guest $24 per guest for a round trip to the park. With four people that was uncalled expense. This is an older facility and the room has not been updated for quite some time.
Positives: The pool and swimming areas were very nice and exceeded our expectations unfortunately we had only one opportunity to use them.
Negatives: The room was very small and overpriced and still the hotel charged for every small incidental including the parking and internet access.

How could I forget! During my stay here, the toilet in my room had little water pressure and the valves (unlike at home) could only be adjusted with a screwdriver, so, I was helpless it seemed. Needless to say, my only option was to call and report the problem. To make things worse, the operator asked specifically what was wrong with the toilet and what I needed (its like, take a hint.). The maintenance person arrived carrying the plunger wrapped in a white garbage bag. Can't they anticipate the guest's needs and realize it's a personal issue which would be more comfortable for the guest to deal with themselves? That has never happened to me before and I will never forget it. I hope I never run into that lady again.
Positives: Nice pool area.
Negatives: Toilet issues.

I was recently here for a conference. My wife and I have also been leisure guests a few times before. I have always loved this property since I was a child - the @30 floor glass elevators are fun, not to mention the pools/waterfalls/waterslide! Overtime however, the property has become a little lackluster in my opinion. It has been refreshed somewhat in recent years and they are adding more meeting space. The parking situation and fees leaves allot to be desired, but considering the size and layout of the place, I guess it's the best they could do. I do feel it is somewhat overpriced for a nightly stay. The internet options/wireless/fees were less than desirable.
Positives: Great pool, most staff was consistently professional.
Negatives: Parking, parking fee, internet/wireless limited and fees.

This hotel was well worth the money we paid, and the breakfast buffet was served late enough so that it served as our lunch too. The entire staff was accommodating.
Positives: The staff was very accommodating and pleasant.
Negatives: The only drawback was that we had to valet because the self parking was far.
