We selected this hotel because we were seeing the magic and it was across the street from the Amway Center. We were impressed by the fact that we were very near the interstate - could see it from our window but could not hear any of its noise. A huge plus to us!
Positives: The rooms were well appointed.
Negatives: Thought $14.00/day for parking was expensive.

Far from the main part of Key West, but has a great view of the water. The pool is beautiful. A bit costly. There is a fridge in the room and a balcony over looking the pool and the water.
Positives: The water view was beautiful.
Negatives: The musty smell in the room.

The hotel was actually better than I'd expected it to be based on other evaluations. The neighborhood was not a bad neighborhood at all. It's just downtown. The valet parking was also not bad even though the parking lot is not secure. Overall, I plan on staying there every time I need to be closer to my downtown venues.
Positives: The hotel was very convenient to where I needed to be.
Negatives: The water heater broke down the first day, but they were quick to make good on it.

The hotel itself was ok. I didnt like that fact that is was mandatory valet parking, but they charged you $14 for it. If its mandatory they shouldnt charge you for it.
Positives: It was quiet.
Negatives: The front desk staff was rude.

Nice entrance area with easy check-in service. The room was clean and the maid service was great everyday. I would recommend this hotel to others who want to stay in that area.
Positives: Location and service.
Negatives: The shower pressure was very low and hard to adjust.

Surprised by the extra charge for forced valet parking at 15 dollars a day, never mentioned up front. Shocked into submission on arrival, no choice. Changes your view of all that follows to be frank, the room was just ok, nice that one could open the windows. It is an older hotel but clean, and quiet, pool was nice and the deck area. Good location but heavy traffic each night as a basketball venue is across the street great location for downtown Orlando which was lively at night and dead during the day - great park within walking distance - great hotel for walking as the car was trapped ok experience overall.
Positives: Nice lobby, public area, good fitness and pool and 2nd floor deck.
Negatives: Parking situation was uncomfortable.

Great location with many amenities to offer from a sports bar, fine dining, and a new exercise room. Again you cannot get much closer to the Orlando Magic Arena. The Motel is also located fairly close to lake Eola which is circled with a walking/jogging track.
Positives: If your looking to go to an Orlando Magic game you can't get much closer.
Negatives: No shuttle service to airport.

The lobby was clean and nicely decorated. The desk clerks were professional but certainly not warm and friendly. This hotel is a totally non-smoking hotel. The room was clean but, except for the bed's dressing, was unremarkable and looked like any other hotel room. We ordered room service. The food was delivered when promised. It was tasty, but no condiments were provided.
Positives: It is directly across the street from several event venues.
Negatives: The room's temperature was uncomfortable. I think the a/c unit was not functioning properly.

I loved this hotel. It had everything I could ask for and it was close to all of the things that were on my agenda to visit. The staff was friendly and eager to assist with any request. I felt safe and was able to relax and enjoy my stay in Orlando.
Positives: Value for location to downtown Orlando.
Negatives: Too late of a Check in time.

The hotel itself is beautiful. I didn't like the fact that they insist on parking our car in the lot just 20 feet from the door at a $12 per day fee. I didn't like the location. It is a very bad neighborhood and too far from the Convention Center. It seemed strange to have a fancy hotel with fancy prices in the middle of the ghetto.
Positives: The hotel was elegant and clean.
Negatives: The hotel is in the middle of the ghetto.

Great hotel, great location with very comfortable room. Room service a little on the expensive side. Parking at the hotel is VALET only.
Positives: Large room, very clean.
Negatives: Valet-only parking.

I resent all hotels where you get charged for parking. All that does is make the roomn look cheaper when it really is not. The room size seemed quite small, with no room other than the beds.
Positives: it was a great hotel. Very clean and convenient
Negatives: Parking for $9 a day open air and small room

I like the pool, the nice mood of the sports bar. Room service was also very good with food and addtional supplies. The staff was extremely helpful. Security within the hotel was also very good. I did not like the fact that there were always local homeless people not to far from the hotel. It doesn't seem like a place where you can take a walk. A Rent- a- car is a must.
Positives: Location was good, but not safe for women travel alone
Negatives: 3 stars hotel with no refrigerator or a safe box in the room

accomodations were great and staff couldn't be any nicer. breakfast buffet was pricey, but delicious and, again, the staff were very friendly. would recommend and even stay there again.
Positives: staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Negatives: pool needs to be re-tiled.

Very nice hotel with three restaurants located within. However, I have never stayed at a hotel that charged you for valet parking without the option of not using it. Overall, the stay was great! The hotel was beautiful.
Positives: Valet parking was nice. Room service was excellent.
Negatives: Located almost on top of railroad tracks.

Positives: The employess were courteous
Negatives: Location could have been better

Hotel staff was great, location was good ,hotel was nice and clean, the valet parking was very frustrating I was asked to park my own car when checking in the first time because they were busy so I did, no problem , then when I was ready to come back later in the night noone was there to park it , again I had to park down the street because there was not a parking garage in sight. And I was still charged a 9.00 valet fee not happy.but other than that stay was great.
Positives: location was awesome close to everything great staff very clean for the money.
Negatives: had to valet park and there was not someone available to park you all the time.

I truly had a great time, it was a very nice hotel. However, I was looking for something a little more, a place with a full spa. I had hoped to relax a little more take a long hot bath, get a massage, pedicure and manicure. But overall it was nice.
Positives: Having everything pay for before I arrived.
Negatives: Not being able to choose the place or having to change what I really wanted when shopping for a hotel.

Very pleased with this hotel especially at the price I got it.
Positives: Great hotel for the price, comfy beds etc.
Negatives: Had to pay $9 everyday for parking
