Not at all what I expected. Okay hotel but not upscale at all.

When we mentioned this to the staff, and they asked what room we were in, and when we told them - they kind of laughed and knew what we were talking about. Room had no view whatsoever and as mentioned was probably the smallest hotel room I was ever in.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: The room we were given was very substandard. The main part of the room was maybe 10X12 ft.

One of the desk clerks was awesome! One of the vehicle valet boys had the worst attitude.
Positives: Patio.
Negatives: Our room view was terrible.

This hotel was old and dingy looking everywhere inside.
Positives: The outside grounds, pool area and location.
Negatives: No air conditioner or not working, no fan in toilet area, not even coffee in the room or lobby.

Hotel is in need of updating. Hallways and common areas were dirty and dingy. Rooms are not inviting. No warmth to them at all. Very minimalistic with cement floors that felt grimy on my feet. Bedding ok, bathroom adequate. Lots of amentities and most require payment at a very expensive rate.
Positives: The beach and the beach amenities were great
Negatives: Pool area is deteriorating, needs updated, needs to be cleaned.

My partner and I booked a night at this hotel and were greeted by a rude staff and our room was dirty. When we approached the staff about it we were not offered a resolution, so we left the hotel. There are much nicer, cleaner, and friendlier hotels in the SoBe area for the same price if not less.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Everything.

Very romantic. Not somewhere you stay for the comfort. Definitely a happening spot on Miami Beach.
Positives: Great location on the beach.
Negatives: Valet was horrible.

Nice hotel with a S. Florida South Beach feel. Older hotel with new amenities and close to the heart of S. Beach.
Positives: South Beach location for a great price.
Negatives: Parking was a challenge.

Very spartan style hotel, poor furniture in room, this hotel should be a one or two star hotel.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: The hotel at all.

It houses late night party bars. It does not look very good in the light of the day. We would have loved to use the pool but it was impossible unless you had ear plugs. I doubt many people at the pool in the afternoon were actually registered hotel guests. No coffee in the room nor in the lobby. Unforgivable.
Positives: The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Housekeeping brought a fan to drown out the noise.
Negatives: Music at the pool area was so loud the public areas could not be enjoyed by guests.

Room was nice but extras were extremely expensive. No top sheet on bed. Called house keeping for sheets but they never came. The restaurant was okay but overpriced. Drinks at the pool were also about $18 a piece. Valet parking was $48. For what I saved on the room, I spent in all the extras that were way overpriced.
Positives: Pool area and beach access was great.
Negatives: Food was extremely overpriced and valet parking was $48!
