La Quinta is a good value for the traveler in need of simple accommodations and proximity to the airport. The airport shuttle is what first interested me and it proved to be most convenient.

Positives: The staff was efficient and courteous.

Negatives: There is no exhaust vent to remove steam from the shower and bath area.

Very poor, lack of professionalism from front desk agent; Almost stepped over a big roach on my way to front desk (gave me the chills). I will certainly stay away from this hotel on my next trip.

Positives: Cannot find anything; Yes! the shuttle driver was very respectful and courteous.

Negatives: Just about everything even bathroom light did not turn on automatically; outlets not working etc., floor carpet filthy.

Rooms are smelly, pool had algae, didn't eat there in fear of spoiled food. Not at all happy.

Positives: Didn't like it at all.

Negatives: Was very smell and dirty. Looked as if they rented rooms by the hour. Not what I paid for.

The hotel reminded me of a Best Value Inn.

The room smelt like wet, the toilet is leaking and the lobby and breakfast area is too small and disorganized....The personnel are so rude .Was a terrible experience, my first and last night is this hotel.

This hotel is close to the airport and offers free hourly shuttles services. Ideal when needing to stay overnight and needing to catch a flight the next day.

Positives: Staff very friendly and helpful.

Negatives: The rooms are outside and I had to walk a bit to get to the lobby.

The person who checked us in was the best!, house keeping was not regular, we did not have enough towels. The bathroom was also clodded, water was running on the floor, the phone in the room also did not work.

Positives: A clerk was the greatest, kind, she helped us to get clothing while stranded.

Negatives: The room smell like smoke, know that children will stay there there should be no smoking.

Stayed at this hotel for quick overnight stay near airport. Choose this one due to shuttle service, internet access, and breakfast included. The shuttle never arrived for our return trip to the airport--we ended up getting a cab. The breakfast was very limited and not great quality. The internet was fine.

Positives: Proximity to airport.

Negatives: Breakfast was skimpy.

Our bathroom didn't appear to be clean and I was glad we didn't have to actually take a bath. Seemed a little poor in quality for the price.

Positives: Not much; location was right where we wanted it to be.

Negatives: The bathroom in our room was awful!

Location is good for a place to stay overnight near the Miami airport. It is noisy because there is no interior hallway; room doors open to the parking lot so you hear cars and people walking/talking as they arrive throughout the night and early morning. It is a 2-star not 3-star hotel. Problem: the toilet ran all night so it kept us awake. It is the safe hotel near the Miami airport; no frills but okay if you only need a place to sleep then leave in the morning.

Positives: Close to Miami

Negatives: Noisy, thin walls, leaky plumbing, poor continental breakfast with very small eating area.

Recently renovated room. Nice, clean, everything in working order. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Shuttle only from airport only runs once an hour and it is 20-25 min away. Was very pleasantly surprised.

Positives: Great staff, newly renovated rooms, good price for local.

Negatives: Further from airport.

Not up to snuff with other La Quintas I have stayed in. The room needed work as the ceiling plaster was faling. I had small bugs in the room. This is more common in south Florida but I didn't have this problem at any of the other 3 hotels I stayed in.

Positives: Free breakfast was good.

Negatives: Room needed repairs.

Overall it was a decent hotel. The price was good, the staff members were friendly and helpful with directions. The rooms on the otherhand were not all that pleasant because in our case there was a lot of ants in our first room and then it was a hassle to get a different room. The bathroom area didn't seem 100% clean.

Positives: It was a convenient location, the staff members were very helpful with directions, and the price was very good.

Negatives: We had a lot of problems with our room, it had a lot of ants in it and didn't seem real clean.
