The hotel was excellent for an overnight stay.

Positives: I liked the efficiency, friendliness, and concern of the staff.

Negatives: I did not like having to obtain the luggage cart and carry my own luggage to and from the room.

Very clean and front desk was very friendly and helpful. Shuttle to airport was right on time and free. Room was very clean. Could hear airplanes through evening but did not keep us up. TV was dark but not a big deal. Breakfast was adequate.

Positives: Good location close to airport.

Negatives: Planes were a little loud till evening but did not keep us up. TV was dark.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. It was new or recently remodeled. The room was spacious with a calming and new decor. We had no complaints with the room, or the front desk staff. I will easily recommend this hotel to others.

Great location between airport and cruise port. Reasonable price, good continental breakfast, comfortable beds and pillows. Free shuttles to and from airport and cruise ports. Very convenient!

This hotel was very buzy! a lot of people going on cruises were booked here. Probably because of the price. For the money<BR/>I would spend a little more and go to a better hotel. it is close to the airport about five minutes. However, if your relying on the shuttle service to pick you up from the airport forget it, you'll be waiting a long time. We waited an hour, for it to finally show up. After my husband called them.

Positives: The breakfast was good.

Negatives: Terrible service for pick up at the airport.

The price was reasonable, the beds incredibly comfortable, the rooms were clean, staff friendly and helpful. I plan to return.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! A group of us stayed there before our cruise and this is the only place we could find with complimentary shuttles from the hotel and to the cruise port! It was only cheap for the room which is awesome compared to other places around Miami. The staff was awesome. I had several questions and they were so helpful and nice. I can't say much about being able to find the place because we used the shuttle services. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone. It was clean, inexpensive, and the staff was awesome even though the hotel was completely booked.

The lady at the front desk was alone and very busy. When<BR/>I did get to her she was very helpful. Great hotel for the price.

Bad news first, the mattress sank in the middle, the room keys kept getting demagnetized, we had to go to the desk and get them reset every time we tried to use them. The hotel would be impossible to find if we didn't have a GPS and even with the GPS it was difficult getting into and out of the hotel without getting lost. Everything else was so nice I hate to complain. The room was fresh, clean and modern. The pillows, linens and shower were scrumptious for a hotel this price. The room had a coffeemaker with regular, decaf, an iron with full size ironing board, a blow dryer, free wireless Internet. The continental breakfast was good. The staff was courteous and helpful. They asked how everything was and seemed to care when told the mattress was uncomfortable.

Positives: The pillows, linens were soft and comfortable. The room was clean and crisp. The room had a coffeemaker with both regular and decaf.

Negatives: The mattress sank in the middle and my back hurt. The room keys kept getting de magnetized although we kept them away from magnets.

Overall, it was an ok hotel, but it wouldn't be my first choice to stay at. There is room for improvement.

Positives: They provide transportation to our cruise port, early morning breakfast.

Negatives: The shower pole was rusty, pool was dirty, the walls were dirty.

I stayed at this same hotel two years ago, and it was clean, recently renovated, and the sevice was outstanding. This time the room smelled HORRIBLE and was loaded with ants. To say there is a language barrier with the entire front desk staff would be an understatement. When they do understand you they are indifferent and not helpful in the least. There were several people in our party and everyone had a similar poor experience. All of the rooms we got were filthy. Despite the free shuttle to the cruise ships, I'll probably never stay here again.

We have stayed here on several occasions. We like the price, convenience for an overnight connection, and early breakfast hours. Overall, good service.

Positives: First time, very friendly, understanding with my handicapped companion.

Negatives: Second time, would not provide refrigerator for liquids for handicapped companion.

At Miami airport picked up phone and could not get through to the front desk to ask for an airport pickup. I tried for about 20 minutes. I finally called another LaQuinta and she said that she would take care of it. Finally, after another 20 minutes or so a van showed up. I don't know where the hotel employees were but no one was answering the phone for at least 20 minutes.

Positives: Free airport and port transfers.

Negatives: Staff at desk understaffed and overworked.

This is a converted Baymont after LaQuinta purchased many of these properties. They have several little cards boasting<BR/>free wireless internet access, but the access point in my area was not working for 2 nights.

Positives: Close to my area of business.

Negatives: Wireless internet not workoing.

One evening we saw some teenagers breaking into a car, the hotel staff did not speak english or pretended not to speak english, could not give up directions anywhere, said there was no restaurants in the area. We would never return to any La Quinta Hotel again.

Positives: Complimentary breakfast was ok.

Negatives: Did not speak English, not helpful with directions, not pet friendly.

It's very nice and clean and located nicely and not far the miami international airport and service with a smile.

We chose for closeness to airport. Staff ok, and room somewhat down at the heels compared with other La Quintas and hotels in this category<BR/>2 star or so.

When they are done with remodeling I know it will be a super place to stay close to the airport. Nice restraunt within walking distance with a friendly staff. Need to remove the abandoned restraunt in front of the entrance to the hotel,distracts from the first impression &amp; makes it look like a bad neighborhood.

Positives: The staff was very friendly &amp; efficient. It was close to the airport, exactly as we wanted.

Negatives: It would have been nice to know it was remodeling. Allergic to construction dust. Staff gave us a room that the dust was ok.
