Family owned and operated The Boat House Motel is tucked away on the tip of an inlet waterway where the Marco River meets the Gulf of Mexico and is next door to a historic shopping dining and entertainment district called Olde Marco Island.

Guests enjoy gulf island breezes and can walk or boat to boutique shopping dining entertainment and watersports activities and marinas. The rooms are kept up date and immaculate and the atmosphere is devoted to maintaining the charm and nostalgia of a more simple laid back way of life. There is an oversized sun deck that overlooks the waterways. From the deck you can swim in the pool fish off the dock take in the birds and marine wildlife and view the sunset over the Gulf. Local dolphin are known to feed and play in our waterway and manatee sightings have been reported. Boaters can pull up to the inn as dock slips are available for rent with quick access to the Gulf of Mexico and back bay.

Pets are welcome in select accommodations and guests wishing to bring a pet or a boat will need to call ahead as restrictions will apply. Marcos best beach is Tigertale Beach and The Boathouse Motel is a short drive or bike ride away. Island scooter rentals also are available. The front desk staff is available to assist with any request. The owners live nearby and are available 24 hours. There are many extra touches in all the rooms that make guests of The Boathouse Motel feel more at home such as home quality furnishings and linens.
