I stay at the Hampton Inn a lot, this one needs some updating. The staff was very nice but the hotel itself needs an overhaul.
Positives: Close to downtown.
Negatives: Run down - maybe because of storms? Not very modern.

Overall, this hotel was a great place to stay. The continental breakfast even had hot food choices and the view was beautiful.

Good location, but Mediocre staff, filthy stairways, halls, garage, room, pool and bar area. Landscaping had been allowed to die. Appeared it was allowed to deteriorate because it was going to be torn down. Would never stay there again.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Dead landscaping, dirty room, dirty facilities, dirty walkways, peeling paint including Jacuzzi, etc.
