Overall, a great value. Check in was easy with good reception from staff. Facility is well maintained and kept current. Great access to many restaurants, water activities, and other attractions.

Positives: Great location, updated rooms, large selection of amenities.

Negatives: Cleaning staff left our room door open and unattended for several hours. Next day room service was incomplete.

Hotel was very fancy, but the furnishings in the room were sparse and uncomfortable. The hotel added a $20.00 resort fee.

Positives: Location was good and views from the room were great.

Negatives: They added a $20.00 resort

Fabulous location, 1 block from Duval, yet very quiet and secluded. Small beach, great views of the passing boats.

Positives: Location

Negatives: Nothing

Great location on Front Street, just 2 blocks from the top of Duvall Street. Rooms were clean and the decor was modern. Staff was friendly, when you saw them, but they weren't around much (didn't want for anything).

Positives: Turtle ponds and

Negatives: Parking limited, gift shop not open in the evening.

From my check-in experience all the way to check-out I had no drama or headache. The staff made everything so easy and stayed on top of any needs we may have had. The hotel is very fancy, but yet felt welcoming and warm. I loved the champagne on arrival. We had a view of the turtle ponds and that was lovely.

Positives: The hotel staff were all extremely friendly and accomodating.

Negatives: Nothing much not to like but the pool was kinda small.

The Hyatt is awesome, and the location is absolutely perfect, right around the corner from Duval and Mallory Square. It's very, very beautiful and has both the pool, and the Gulf to swim in. The staff at the poolside bar area was great with reasonably priced (and good!) food and drinks (which was surprising). There is a $20 per day resort fee which we thought was included in the total cost, but it wasn't (I guess we didn't read the fine print too well) and it pays for parking, towels at the pool, and water in the room. The room was really nice, but HOT, even with the air conditioning blasting on high. I traveled with a friend and when the hair-dryers were going, it was unbearable (girls don't like that when they're trying to do their hair). Bearing all that in mind, we would definitely stay there again and would love to go back this weekend!

Positives: The location was fantastic!

Negatives: The room was hot even with the air blasting.

I would stay here again. Convenient to all of the activities of Key West both in the day and in the evening. Parked our car and never drove it again until we checked out of the hotel.

Positives: Great location and very clean.

Negatives: Nothing.

This hotel is top-notch. Absolutely stunning rooms with marble flooring throughout, beautiful pool area and literally a 2-3 minute walk from the heart of the action in Key West. Highly recommended.

Positives: Fantastic location and top-notch facilities.

Negatives: Not sure if it's kid friendly. Didn't see many children around at all.

Overall, an excellent hotel. Great service, very nice rooms, clean, and great location. Restaurant service a bit slow, but food was very good. However, I wouldn't consider paying the full/regular price for a room here. Extremely overpriced for the market/services, but at a discounted price, it's a fantastic place to stay in Key West.

Positives: Location, staff, level of service, and quality of the facilities.

Negatives: The pool was underwhelming.

My husband and I were very pleased with the Hyatt Key West resort. We had a beautiful view from our room. The location was great because we could walk where we wanted to go. It is way to crowded on the streets to drive. On our last day at Key West we did drive to the other side of the island to check it out, but decided our side was better. In fact we met several couples who were staying on the other side and wished they were where we were staying. We had a wonderful time and it is definately on our go-again list. We will stay a the Hyatt again.

Positives: The location of the hotel is within walking distance to everything on that side of the island.

Negatives: The beach area was very small.

Overall, the hotel was very clean and nice and the service was good. Anytime we needed anything in the room, it was brought up very promptly. It is very family oriented with many kids around. The location is perfect: on the water a block from Duval. And the sunsets over the water were great from the beach area or the room balcony. However, despite being on the water, the beach area is very small and the pool is very small as well (hard to get away from the many splashing, screaming kids). Also, we ran the A/C full blast the whole time we were there and it never got cool.

Positives: The location was very convenient and the views from the balconies were great.

Negatives: The beach area and pool were too small.

Not impressed. It is in a good location with a wide variety of activities on it's facilities. I would not go back there.

Positives: The hotel provided all of the water activities, which include waverunning, snorcoling, deep sea fishing, boating- right in it's back yard.

Negatives: The hotel is a hotel not a resort. The swimming pool is small and only has a depth of 3 ft 9 inch. It is not as luxurios as most Hyatts I have been to.

We heard many guests complaining about their rooms when we checked in. Our room was a disappointment but we didn't request a change. The hotel is undergoing needed renovations--or so we heard.

Positives: Nicola Restaurant was excellent

Negatives: The room was noisy and over a parking lot. It was barely cooled by a noisy air cooler.

Ideal location - 60 seconds walk from all the action on Duval Street, but located on a quiet side street so you can sleep peacefully when you're ready. Very friendly and accommodating hotel staff. Excellent value/.

Positives: Terrific location and fabulous sunset views.

Negatives: Some of the hotel staff appear to require remedial training in effective customer service.

This was the best priced hotel we ever got! For a quater of their advertised price we stayed two nights over spring break. You don't even need to fight the crowds at Mallory Square to see the sunset. Can't wait to go back!

Positives: Great location, beautiful tropical surroundings

Negatives: need more staff

The Hyatt Key West is very different structually from the typical Hyatt. It is a low rise structure consisting of 4 buildings. This works great in the beach / Key West setting. Our room had a large balcony that overlooked the harbor and the pool. The pool was the perfect size for a resort of this size. The whole place is just beautiful and perfectly located in Old Town near all the fun and activity of Duval Street.

Positives: Location, great staff, room with a balcony and great view of the harbor, seafood at Nicola & Scuttles, pool, terrific value.

Negatives: That I only stayed 1 night. Can't wait to go back and hope to win the Hyatt again

The Hyatt is a first class hotel resort. Staff is professional and helpful. They provided huge umbrellas for us as it rained the first night. At the pool they were always ready to get you anything you needed. The rooms were like suites with little balconies overlooking ponds , pool, or ocean. Just lovely!

Positives: The location is a dream. It is right on the water. Picture perfect!!!

Negatives: The pool was not heated.

The hotel offers a great view, beautiful grounds, and a friendly staff.

Positives: The room was beautiful and the hotel informed us of the many excursions on the island.
