Until this hotel is renovated and improved, it should not be considered a three star property.
Positives: Location was Okay.
Negatives: Outdated, in need of refurbishing.

Hotel has obviously been renovated some time ago, however, is in need of another remake. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Positives: Friendly receptionist. Renovated bathrooms.
Negatives: No place to hang towels in bathroom.

We were surprised that this was a Holiday Inn. It was recently renovated to a high standard befitting a 3 star hotel. It compares to a Hilton Garden hotel but better value. Parking is easy and it is located close to the historic downtown.
Positives: Located close to the historic downtown. Parking was easy.
Negatives: Internet was not available in the rooms. Also, there wasn't a fridge in the room.

This hotel is completely average. Comfort or Hampton is a much better value with free WiFi and free breakfast. I would not recommend staying here. No side door access, you must always go through the lobby. Parking lot is gated at night and inconvenient to exit.

My last stay was not the most pleasant. The first room had a strong smell of mildew. When I washed my hands, the sink would not drain. The front desk gave graciously me another room. The hotel's internet service was unavailable. I did enjoy a copy of USA Today. A free paper is something that not every hotel offers.
Positives: The front desk relocated me to a better room.
Negatives: The first room smelled of mildew.

This is our second stay at this hotel. Staff is consistently friendly a real plus since on this visit we had to change rooms 3 times due to no hot water, then due to no internet connection which never go straightened out (so we use their business center). We also had to park in the back of the hotel which seems unsafe because the front parking spaces were coned off due to the fact that they were painting the hotel. All of these were weird but annoying, however the staff did their best for us just a little frustrating.
Positives: Very friendly and helpful staff.
Negatives: Moved room 3 times due to no hot water, no room internet connection, had to park in back due to front of hotel being painted.

Stayed here a total of four nights using two rooms per night.
Positives: Convenient location for my visiting purpose.
Negatives: Noise level, not very soundproof, doors slamming make loud noise.

The hotel itself has well-appointed rooms and common areas. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were there for 11 nights, and on the last night had to change rooms due to a noise issue in the room next to us. The made the transition simple. Overall, though, we were not comfortable at the hotel due to the shady area in which it is located. You can't walk past the parking lot at night for fear of personal harm. We ate at the restaurant one night and were disappointed by the small portions of overcooked food.
Positives: The rooms were nice and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Negatives: The location of the hotel was horrible. Not in a good area at all.

This Holiday Inn is nicely remodeled with bathroom upgrades and comfortable beds. The pool bar and restaurant are very inviting with a friendly staff and excellent food.
Positives: Nicely remodeled, good location.
Negatives: Light bulbs out in room, door would not lock.
