For the price and location, it was exactly what I expected. The staff was friendly and from what I could see the room was clean. I enjoyed the apartment style room.
Positives: The hotel was a very short walk from the beach and right next to a delicious sandwich place.
Negatives: There was an odd smell when we got in the room, everything was fine after we opened the windows for a bit.

We have several timeshare weeks here. Love the location--just off the beach one block, within walking distance to Galleria Mall, beach, Intracoastal & Water Taxi, numerous restaurants & bars, drug store, etc. Neighborhood has Key West atmosphere, yet sanely quiet. Best for those without young children, as pool is moderate size, but beach is just a block. 16 stories with ocean or Intracoastal views, parking deck underneath. Internet and business center, other Internet facilities next door. Restaurant supposed to re-open in 2005. Daily activities and tour desk. No hard sell Timeshare pitches. Great staff attitudes!
Positives: Convenient, yet quiet location, 1 block off the Ft. Lauderdale Beach
Negatives: Older building, but well maintained and renovations on-going.
