I like every thing in this hotel. Good location and easy access to the beach. Have kitchen, big frig, dishwasher and microwave in the room. One downside was the pull-out couch's mattress is dirty and molded.

The residence inn at Sandestin was awesome. I would strongly recommend it to other families.

Positives: I loved the breakfast. It was simply delicious at no cost to me and my kids.

Negatives: I did not like the pool, not because of hotel but because of the temperature.

The hotel was nice, in a great location in an upscale area. Breakfast each morning was exactly the same. There were several early evening managers gathering offering free food and wine. Stay was comfortable, housekeeping did not come our entire 3 night stay. Was not planning on having to make my own bed and take out the trash during vacation. When notifying the front desk fresh towels were sent right away. Beds are hard and the sofa couch impossible to sleep on.

Positives: Location and kitchen facilities.

Negatives: No housekeeping entire 3 night stay. Needed to call front desk for trash removal and clean towels.

This hotel was a very good place to stay, even considering it was just a short drive to the beaches. It has top quality restaurants, shopping, and a Publics grocery store within a short walk. The rooms were perfectly arranged, and very clean. The pool was very relaxing after a long day. I would stay here again.

Positives: The staff was excellent. The breakfast bar and lobby were better than I expected. Pool was nice.

Negatives: I really have no complaints.

We were very pleased with the hotel. The great staff was most accommodating and it was very clean. A delicious hot breakfast was offered - not just muffins and coffee! Easy access in the Sandestin Resort area. Definitely would stay there again!

Positives: Nice staff, great amenities, very clean and comfortable.

Negatives: Not near the beach; however, a shuttle ran to the beach from the hotel.

Residence Inn has always been know for Mariott quality. This est. was no exception. Modern, aesthetically pleasing decor, clean environment, secure/safe surroundings. Nice public areas for relaxing or taking in the nice FL weather.

I thought it was ocean front, but it was not they did offer the ocean at the resort across the street. Several restaurants were available within the resort area, very nice.

Overall, my family and I greatly enjoyed the convenience and comfort of this hotel. It provides a great breakfast buffet each morning with staff right there to get you anything you need. They will also, at no additional charge, get groceries for your room if you provide a list by 9 am very convenient!

We were greeted by a super-friendly, helpful staff when we arrived. The rooms (2 bedroom suite)were clean. It was so nice to go downstairs for a well run ad ample breakfast buffet. The people working in the kitchen kept the food area well stocked and clean. This was an excellent place to stay except for the fact it was a long drive to downtown destine and the traffic was almost constant.

Positives: The free breakfast and evening snacks were appreciated.

Negatives: Uncomfortable furniture in the room.

The lobby was nice and had a very good breakfast which was included in the cost. The room, however, smelled terrible. The shower was sloped toward the middle and didn't have anything to keep you from slipping. Two of my kids fell down in the shower and I slid around the whole time! It was incredibly dangerous and they didn't offer a mat to put in the bottom of the shower.

Negatives: The room smelled horrible. I couldn't sleep because of the smell.

We thoroughly enjoyed the value of our stay! The reception was welcoming and warm, the breakfast convenient, well stocked with healthy options and we loved having our own kitchen with dishes etc to make our stay more comfortable. Its a bit disappointing to not be on the beach, but with resort access at that price you get a lot for what you pay for. We enjoyed taking walks through the resort area and it was an easy trip to the resorts beach access too. Would have preferred a room that received better sunlight, but for a spontaneous girls getaway it worked out perfect!

Positives: The complimentary breakfast had plenty of healthy options and excellent full service kitchen!

Negatives: Our room overlooked the cramped courtyard so the room felt dark.
