This hotel is an older hotel that has been redone. It is clean and neat. The service was great. Everyone was pleasant. This is for those touring Washington that do not want to spend lots of money on a hotel. If you come to Washington to stay in a luxury hotel then this is not for you. My teenage son and I loved it. It was comfortable with great beds, and a nice bathroom. They have done a great job of redoing the hotel. And it has free WiFi which is important to kids. We were there to visit Washington on a budget and this was perfect. The metro is a short walk from the hotel. It is less than 2 blocks. There are plenty of restaurants right next to the hotel, both sandwich shops and fine dining. And you can park your car in the garage for a fee and leave it there if you choose to drive to the city.
Positives: Hotel was an excellent price, safe location, convenient to the metro and good restaurants nearby. Older hotel, but great price and service. Clean.
Negatives: No breakfast - but there is a burger king next door for breakfast and plenty of other choices.

Good, solid hotel in a great location just a few Metro stops from central DC. Ample parking at a reasonable nightly fee. Clean rooms with good, working fixtures and good lighting. Staff are reasonably helpful. I recommend this hotel for business travelers and leisure travelers, but it does not have the charm that would recommend it ideally to romantic couples.
Positives: The room was spacious and well air-conditioned.
Negatives: It would have been helpful to have a mini-fridge in the room.

Was very disappointed to learn they did not honor the reservation.
Positives: Affordability and proximity to Metro line.
Negatives: They downgraded me from king to queen despite my reservation.

Have stayed here earlier over a year or so. Staff was not able to trouble shoot my WiFi connection. They lacked that aspect. Otherwise they were knowledgeable. Instead, I had to use the lobby terminal. I will certainly stay there next time
I am in the Washington DC Area.
Positives: Location was great as expected.
Negatives: Was not able to connect to the hotel WiFi. Used lobby desktop.

This was my second time staying at this hotel and honestly
I would go back. Its a nice size hotel not too much foot traffic, but all of 2 blocks from the metro.
Positives: I loved the free Internet, and the hotel staff was very helpful.
Negatives: The shower could be touched up a little bit, looked like it was dirty.

Plus side: Nice room, nice size, updated decor and good use of space; great bed. Located close to Metro and good utilitarian shopping; four or five decent restaurants in the same block. Microwave and fridge in room. I didn't drive, but parking seemed to be ample. Minus: controls for shower and for
AC were not in great shape; lobby very small; reception staff - they were fine and responded to questions, but not 'proactively friendly', that is, there was no "Hi and welcome to Days Inn" and few smiles. There is no 'scene' here like there is at Dupont Circle; however, I would probably stay here again if if had the best rate.
Positives: Fantastically comfortable bed; located close to Metro, Starbucks, Giant Supermarket, CVS.
Negatives: Bathroom didn't have a towel bar; shower control bad; small sink counter space;

Not a bad hotel in terms of location. They really need to re-vamp their parking lot. Unless you have a small car, it can be very next to impossible to get in and out of the parking structure. The room was nice, however, they need to replace the desk chair in our room. They also do not have vending and ice machines on each floor, although the signs directing you to the ice and vending machine would lead you to believe otherwise. Should fix curtains so they will close and not let in early morning sunlight.
Positives: Close to stores and restaurants and public transportation.
Negatives: The parking! The parking lot is atrocious!

It was great for the price
I paid. The parking fee was horribly expensive, but
I guess it would have been expensive no matter where
I parked.
Positives: The price.
Negatives: Parking fee.

Worked really well for our family. We were able to leave the car and grab a subway from only 2 blocks away into downtown Washington where we could pick up a pre-booked tour. Hotel staff was amenable to us checking in early, leaving car and taking off ourselves. When we returned we had no trouble picking up keys and going straight to our room.
Positives: Location &
Negatives: Beds and room were awfully small.

Very convenient to Metro and not far from attractions, quiet small but comfortable room, helpful staff, not much of a lobby, no breakfast, but otherwise for the price was just fine.
Positives: Convenient to metro and reasonable price.
Negatives: No breakfast although advertised, somewhat small rooms.

Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wireless internet included but if you don't have a laptop, you can just use the computers in the lobby. Rooms have flat screen TVs and comfortable beds. I thought it was pretty nice considering it's only a 2.5/3 star.
Positives: Staff was helpful and friendly.
Negatives: Room was really small.

You will be impressed by the Wi-Fi access at the hotel for free. The price is right! Good location. Near metro, other facilities. Skip the restaurant, overpriced and not worth it. Hotel is clean and serviceable.
Positives: The price/quality ratio was exceptional.
Negatives: Dingy lobby. Felt slightly unclean.

Friendly employees. Clean and well-kept considering its volume of visitors. Quiet.
Positives: Nice location, friendly help, close to mass transit, and clean.
Negatives: No access to stairs, going up, if I didn't want to take an elevator.

This hotel is in a good location to public transportation and is good for business trips that will offer you a good night sleep. Not a place to entertain. Not a place to vacation. Just good hotel for business traveling in and out.
Positives: Clean, has good comfortable bed. Business friendly.
Negatives: Lobby area was very small. Not much business center offered.

Overall for the price it was good. The room was small but comfortable and clean. Only a block from public transportation. We stayed two nights. Restaurants close by.
Positives: Comfortable bed, easy access to public transportation.
Negatives: No continental breakfast. TV had a bad speaker.

Hotel and location were great, staff very friendly, had issue with room, brought to management attention and the offered immediate resolution.
Positives: Location and friendly staff.
Negatives: Had an issue with the room.

The hotel was good for the purpose we needed. A place to sleep, not necessarily a place to spend a lot of time. The room was neat, the bathroom was stocked with more than enough towels. It would have been nice to supply shower gel (they did have shampoo, conditioner and body lotion). The rooms facing Connecticut Avenue were quiet during the weekend nights but noisy during week nights.
Positives: Close to Subway and good breakfast place next to the subway entrance.
Negatives: There were no shower caps in the bathroom.

My husband & I were on business in DC & we stayed at this hotel for just one night. The hotel was absolutely a disgrace. We had the worst experience we have ever had in a hotel stay. The service was okay, but superior by no means & the rooms & everything about them were ridiculous. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you are looking for any kind of niceness stay far away from here. I wish now we would have gone with the Hilton, down the street, they are always great!
Positives: The location.
Negatives: Small rooms. Cheap looking. Poor TV. Poor bathroom. Poor efficiencies. Overall room = horrible.

The hotel was in a safe and rather vibrant area that included restaurants, stores, dry cleaners and the other necessities for travelers. It was in a business/residential area with easy access by bus, train or taxi to major DC attractions.
Positives: Very good location with easy access to downtown.
Negatives: Parking was nicely located and safe but expensive.

Positives: Inexpensive, comfortable, close to public transportation.
Negatives: Nothing.

They charge for parking your car. When I asked why, they literally laughed at me and said I should not have booked my room. There was no hot water in the shower, and food crumbs on the furniture. But it suited its purpose a room to sleep in for the night.
Positives: Easy to find, safe location.
Negatives: They charg for

$20 for parking when street parking is free on the weekend at a meter. Clerk at checkout was a bit cold.
Positives: Nice room.
Negatives: $20 for parking when street parking was free.

Economy, convenient and clean. Very close to Metro. Only about 20 minutes on Subway to the Metro Centre and Chinatown. Hope to see the smiling face and receive warm regards from the staff there. What I saw was bold faces.
Positives: Economy, convenient and clean.
Negatives: Hope to see the smiling face and receive warm regards from the staff there.

Good for a few nights as a business traveler, walk to mass transit, good choice of places to eat within short walking distance (including a burger king if you're looking for something quick). Building is older and blends into the surroundings (you could easily pass it by without noticing it), AC was too much or too little, parking was confusing but there was a car rental right behind the hotel. I would not stay there on vacation, or for an extended business trip.
Positives: Good food choices in area, near mass transit, good shower.
Negatives: Wireless internet signal was weak, pillows were bad, AC was too cold and didn't cycle properly, parking was confusing.

Good hotel for the price and location. Centrally located.
Positives: Close to Metro.
Negatives: Check out time.

It was a pleasant stay. Staff was friendly, nice location to where we needed. We changed from a King bed to two doubles because we went from a non-smoking to smoking room ($200 charge if you smoke in non-smoking) and the bed really wasn't that comfortable and the pillows were horrible. It's like they were stuffed with cotton balls. New travel rule for me and my old lady from now on, we are definitely bringing our own pillows no matter where. It made for a bad nights sleep.
Positives: Staff was nice and room was clean.
Negatives: The pillows are awful.

My husband and I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and I have little complaints. Overall anyone looking for a conveniently located and reasonably priced hotel this is the place to stay. The hotel is only two blocks from the metro, a coffee shop is right next door, and the neighborhood is nice. My only complaints are that the furniture and bathroom need updating and the soda machine on my floor was out of order the whole time we were there. I will be staying at this hotel on my next visit to D.C.
Positives: The bedding was very comfortable.
Negatives: The bathroom was in need of updating.

Place was okay for its price. Parking area is accessible from outside side streets so not as secure as I would have liked. Only real issue I had was with the hot water. I turned on the hot water for a *long* time and the water was cold. Had to leave it even longer before it got warm enough to shower with. Free internet and two computers in the lobby for those without laptops are also nice.
Positives: Not too expensive.
Negatives: Minor water issues. No hot water even after tap turned on for a while.

Good and economy stay.
Positives: Overall good and easy to commute Washington D.C. inner parts.
Negatives: The place is somewhat busy traffic roads and not much hotel available for food nearby.

Well it was a nice experience, I will come back and recommend.
Positives: Great location, nice people working there.
Negatives: No restaurant, but plenty close to it.
