No major complaints. The public spaces and rooms were clean and well kept. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. I thought the parking and WiFi fees were unreasonable even by DC hotel standards ($34/night for parking & $13/night for WiFi). I've stayed at Georgetown and Capital area hotels where parking and/or WiFi was FREE to guests. Fortunately, I pointed this out to the friendly clerk and she agreed to waive two nights of parking. The hotel itself is a short walk to some nice shopping areas. The almost mile walk to the heart of Georgetown might be too much on a hot humid DC day, especially if traveling with kids. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant, but it seemed a bit pricey ($16 for a burger that doesn't include sides). Instead dined at the many fine restaurants in the area which were much more reasonable.
Positives: Clean and Friendly staff.
Negatives: Very expensive add-ons such as parking and WiFi.

This hotel was very pleasant and clean. The rooms were lovely, a bit larger than I had expected after seeing the photos online. The beds are super-comfortable, with lots of pillows and good-quality sheets. The staff was always friendly and helpful.
Positives: The beds were unbelievably comfortable, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and prompt.
Negatives: Parking should be in-and-out for $30 per day for hotel guests.

We went to DC for a college football game which was creating a lot of fun rivalry and bantering. We were greeted by the staff with a lot of fun bantering which we enjoyed, everyone was extremely nice throughout our weeks stay. We would stay at this Marriott again for sure. Its clean, nice and in a great location.
Positives: Area, clean, and nice.
Negatives: Parking is expensive.

I do not think, I would stay here again. The room was very nice and it is downtown but it is a few blocks away from the metro stations. The staff was not friendly, the waitress especially. The hot tub heater was not working. Very nice for business travelers who ride cabs.
Positives: Room was nice and clean. Nice workout area. Flat screen TV's.
Negatives: Location. Cost of parking. Unfriendly staff. Pool area was not maintained.

A good location, easy to get in and out of the hotel. Easy walking to Georgetown, Dupont, Foggy Bottom and metros. Lobby and small restaurant were nice. Rooms were small, a little musty, Bed linens were clean and updated, mattresses were sub par for Marriott.
Positives: Great breakfast buffet--reasonable and super variety.
Negatives: The mattresses were the worst, no support, miserable night's sleep.

As a Marriott rewards member, I stay in quite a few of their hotels. The Washington Marriott is a great location, close to monuments and good restaurants. We'll definitely consider this hotel on our next trip to DC.
Positives: A wonderful bargain for a high quality hotel.
Negatives: Nothing.

The facility is very nice and would be appropriate for both leisure and business travelers. The parking garage borders on being horrible with spaces that are two small and used by people who can't park correctly (can't blame that on the hotel, however).
Positives: Facilities were very nice.
Negatives: Reserved two-bed room for four days, only received it for two days.

Good central location. 5-10 minute walk from two different Metro stops. The rooms were nice. The desk staff always seemed to disappear for 5 minutes when you needed them. They nickle and dime you for every little thing<BR/> $13 for noon to noon access to the internet. $30 per day for parking.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: 3.5 star hotels don't nickle and dime you over every thing. $13 for noon to noon access to the internet. $30 per day for parking.

Stay was very nice, kind staff and modern room with a great panel with multiple plug ins. The check-in desk and hallways didn't seem renovated and didn't really fit in with the new style of the rooms.
Positives: Great staff and
Negatives: Hallways were not renovated except the carpet.

The hotel was not that conveniently located, and to get to most attractions or the building that I was going to cost a lot in taxi fares. The room was small, and internet service was expensive, so I did not access the internet. There were no extras or amenities that made the stay any more than ordinary.
Positives: Some of the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Negatives: The rooms were small, and some of the staff was not at all friendly or helpful. Room service was expensive.
