There is a new and old part of this hotel. Room I was given was in the old part, small, shabby. We had to ask for wash cloths and bath mat. Mirror was broken in the bathroom. We had to ask for another TV remote. One in the room did not work. Bed and linens were OK. That is about the only compliment I can give this motel.

Positives: Location and bed linens.

Negatives: Room was shabby. We had to ask for wash cloths and bath rug.

The room was not real clean when we checked in. The room smelled stale/musty. Carpets were dingy and shabby. The entire hotel looked beat up. I tripped and almost fell over broken concrete walks that had the broken pieces of masonry simple shoved back in place. The second night, we were greeted by a room that was only partially cleaned. Trash and empty pop bottles remained on the desk. Empty bags were on the floor. The continental breakfast was woefully inadequate. A bar is advertised. It does not exist! The final insult was waxed Dixie cups for drinking. To sum it up, I stay in a lot of hotels. I rate this one in negative numbers. This hotel is not a good value for the money charged. This is the place to order pizza in Noble, never had a bad experience other than waiting a little long for delivery but can't complain the only one that does deliver outside of Noble.

Positives: Desk clerk was very pleasant.

Negatives: The final insult was waxed Dixie cups for drinking.

The rooms are a nice size but they are very cold no place to get romantic at.

Positives: Breakfast was OK and it being close to a lot things was good.

Negatives: The room was very cold even with the heat on. The phone was broken down and remote for the TV.

Good, clean. Room pleasantly large, lovely aveda bath products, ok breakfast.<BR/>Not great, helpful staff.

Positives: Large room, prompt service when my TV was broken.

Negatives: Far from the main highway,dark route and no lit sign for the hotel.

Room smelled. Key cards did not work. Had to get someone to open the door every time I needed to get into the room. Bathroom needed updating. Tub was cracked. Carpeting felt grimy such that I felt the need to wear flip flops in the room. Couch had stains on it.

Overall. we really enjoyed our stay very much and we would stay there again. The hotel does need a little TLC (thin layer chromatography) i.e. the lamp shade was smashed in our room. it was convenient to get to and from the train into NYC as well and close to I-95.

Positives: The rooms were large and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful overall.

Negatives: The bathrooms could be cleaned better: Pretzel on the floor and mold in the grout.

There are two buildings to this hotel. We stayed in the older portion. It desperately needs updating. It was like staying at a motel off a highway. Perhaps the new building where the main lobby is has more character and rooms might be more comfortable, but we'll never know!

Negatives: Plastic sheets on mattresses, beds uncomfortable and not very clean.

I was not expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was refurbished and very clean and attractive. It was rather small but had a comfortable king bed and new fixtures in the bathroom. Everything worked and it was just fine. The get-your-own breakfast was very nice and my husband loved the waffles. We didn't use the pool but it was clean and the water was being tested when we were there. For the price, we couldn't ask for more.

Positives: I liked the price.

Negatives: We arrived at night and I found the layout confusing. Couldn't find the office.

The beds were extremely comfortable. I would say that the hotel was a great value. Very clean with a nice indoor pool. The rooms weren't fancy but the bedding more than made up for it.

We have always enjoyed our stays at the Westport Inn. We know that they have worked to make improvements on the hotel, but some of the rooms are older and seem to be musty. Yet, the staff is always helpful and the cleaning people do a nice job. For an older hotel that is in the process of updating, we enjoy it.

Positives: The hotel staff was very helpful and very nice about cleaning the room. We were visiting family in Westport, so location was perfect.

Negatives: We had two rooms. One was spacious and we enjoyed it. The people traveling with us did not like their room due to dampness and mold problems.

Their air conditioning was out in one building. I was asked to use a non A/C room with a fan. It was 95 degrees. I refused and they were going to send me to a different hotel. Not good at 8:30 at night after a day of traveling. After some arguing, they place me in an air conditioned room that was excellent. However, it should have been handled better.

Positives: My room in main hotel area overlooking atrium and pool was excellent. Others in adjacent buildings are not so good.

Negatives: Air conditioning was out. They were overbooked. I had to argue for an air conditioned room. They wanted to place me elsewhere at a different rate.

The second floor room we stayed in was situated nearer to the main road and presented an appearance that one would in vision as the rear of the building even tough, it was the first look at the hotel by visitors. The hallways & stairways could use a more polished look. The room was small/medium but amply furnished and clean. I was satisfied with the staff.

Positives: I like the fact that it was just off the beaten path, but less than two minutes from I-95.

Negatives: The entrance from the street and directions to the front desk wasn't clearly discernible especially at night.

It was okay in a pinch. Given a choice I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again. It was just okay.

Room was relatively small. Breakfast did not start until 7:00, so I had to miss breakfast. Ice was a mile away. Bathroom, soap the walls and spin, smaller than a cruise ship. No microwave, no fridge. Room key hard to operate.

Positives: Another guest sitting in a chair in the lobby.

Negatives: Breakfast not until 7:00 AM.

Great for family stay, I was hesitant about booking due to some of the negative comments, overall a good value, the kids loved it, the beds were comfy and the staff were all great. I would recommend this hotel but beware there is no restaurant, only open after 5:00 for bar/small snacks.

Positives: The staff was great, the breakfast had good choices and saved us at least $30/day.

Negatives: The pool towels were sometimes in short supply.

Very poor quality carpet, linen, general room quality in the section my room was in (the section towards the highway). The section advertised was on the other side, and was clean and nice.
