Great hotel for business trips. Very quiet.

We checked in after midnight and we noticed the room smelled musty. We were tired and just went to bed but in the morning when we stepped on the carpet outside of the bathroom, it was soaked. I complained when I checked out and asked if they gave us that room.
Positives: It is a beautiful hotel.
Negatives: We checked in late and noticed the room smelled musty. In the morning we realized that the carpet by the bathroom was soaked.

Fairly new hotel, clean rooms. Not withing walking distance of anything. Must have a car or find some other transportation to get around. Not in a great neighborhood.
Positives: Convenient, clean, and fairly new.
Negatives: Too many added on fees: parking, Internet, and refrigerator.

Some garbage cups in the pool area and the noted gym equipment issue. Otherwise, very happy with the hotel.
Positives: Central, pool and jacuzzi.
Negatives: Several pieces of Gym equipment not working and not labeled as such.

The hotel was appealing to look at. Unfortunately, the rooms weren't very clean. My kids were disappointed the pool was closed.
Positives: It was attractive to look at and the staff was very nice.
Negatives: We were hoping to swim and the pool was closed and green.

Excellent hotel with nice amenities. Indoor parking (at a fee) was convenient during winter snow.
Positives: The room was nicely appointed, and the gym was great with newer gear.
Negatives: The restaurant was overpriced and wait staff were marginal at best.

I have stayed here before and this time was definitely not as nice an experience as I have had here. The room was not as neat as I remember it. The room had a musty smell to it upon entering and the ventilation system did little to expel that odor. I asked for a remote room with no noise and they did that right. The flat screen TV is great.
Positives: It has PBS local station on the TV Listings, and it has a complimentary mini-refrigerator available.
Negatives: IF you don't have a car you are alone. There is little to walk to downtown Stamford/Greenwich.

Everything was great. The staff was friendly. The room was very nice. The bar area was surprisingly poor and very small for a hotel this size. It was very cold and drafty but the bartender was very nice. Redo this area of the hotel or convert a meeting room into a warm pub! You need it.
Positives: The room was very nice.
Negatives: The bar area was too small and not warm enough. In fact it was cold.

Never want this dump again.
Positives: Nothing. If I ever get this hotel again would consider using other hotel reservation methods.
Negatives: Tv did not work well. Didn't get NBC so couldn't watch fb game. Shower barely functional.

The hotel was partially renovated. The lobby and rooms were 3.5 stars. The hallways needed a little attention and the pool needed major attention.
Positives: Location and staff.
Negatives: Pool area.

Overall very clean public areas and room. Room was nice. Bed was too soft. Staff was all courteous and helpful, although the service in the restaurant was unbelievably slow. Also, the pool was out of towels every time I checked. The front desk said they were out and waiting for their service to deliver more. One reason for this may have been they were highly booked due to major power outages in the area due to a storm. Only other complaint was that there seemed to be a lot of guests with pets, probably for the same reason. If you don't like animals indoors, that is a major turnoff - if you have a pet, I guess you would find that to be a positive.

Positives: Clean, and polite staff.
Negatives: Restaurant service unbelievably slow, ran out of towels at pool.

Bar looked modern. Room looked great. Bed was soft, feather blankets cozy, and the feather pillows AWESOME. Truly got a good rest!
Positives: The pillows were feather which made all the difference ingetting a good nights rest.
Negatives: Shower did not have good pressure.

We liked the fact that it allowed our pets. That's the extent to the pluses. The rooms are dirty. We had to change rooms once, tolerated the second. Asked the front desk person for directions to nearest D.D. and sent me in a circle. Pool was nice, but the hot tub was broken. Walls were thin, could hear people in hall way and in next room.
Positives: Pet friendly, pool, attractive lobby.
Negatives: Very dirty rooms, front desk people were not helpful.

Everything is usually good, but things change from day to day without explanation - i.e., sometimes parking is unrestricted other times not so. Sometimes there is complimentary coffee and sometimes it's not available - sometimes we get newspapers and sometimes not. Sometimes the gift shop is open posted hours sometimes not. Overall, everything is good just not so consistent. (FYI -
we traveled during a holiday which might be why).
Positives: It's adequate in all ways.
Negatives: I'd just prefer the Hyatt.

Negatives: Bed size.

Everything at the hotel was just fine, until I went to use the shower. The shower drain was clogged, so a minute in, all this dust and hair bubbled up, and you showered while standing in dirty water. Told front desk about the problem twice. They did not fix it (even when they said they would), nor did they offer to move us to a different room. Will not stay again.
Positives: The lobby was very modern.
Negatives: Service.

Great place to stay. Easy.
Positives: Easy to get to.
Negatives: They charged a lot extra for parking.

Good value.
Positives: The price and the lobby.
Negatives: Loud party going on outside our room until 11 pm - would've preferred peace and quiet.

This is a beautiful hotel located in a sketchy neighborhood. It is isolated enough so it feels safe, though. There is a parking garage for $10/day, the staff/services were excellent, the pool and exercise room were clean and stocked. The room was clean and updated. We were on the 6th floor and it sounded like we were at a rock concert - everything was loud, including the emcee talking on the microphone.
Positives: Very clean and friendly staff.
Negatives: Very loud and noisy!

Positives: Convenient.
Negatives: Room had an odor.

I
would recommend and use again.
Positives: Lobby and rooms were very clean and spacious.
Negatives: Location is just off freeway but otherwise not convenient for shopping.

A nice hotel but hard to get to off 95 South. Not as nice as Stamford Marriot or Greenwich Hyatt, but the best linens of the three. Desk clerk provided breakfast coupons when upgrade was not available. Breakfast buffet was very good. Overall a very good stay and considering the price, very hard to beat.
Positives: Best linens of all hotels in Stamford.
Negatives: decor

Very upscale with very nicely appointed rooms. Very large bed in the king room. Everything appeared new and just cleaned.
Positives: Very well appointed rooms.
Negatives: Charged for parking.

Lovely property, enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely stay there again. Couldn't believe the excellent Priceline rate amazing!
Positives: Lovely decor in the room, very clean, friendly/helpful staff.
Negatives: Wish the van that takes you to the train ran later than 10:30 pm.
