Lobby around dinner time (when I first checked in) smelled strongly curry. No elevator. Very dingy and dusty looking building, but the rooms are not too bad. Bathroom is old, but for a solo traveler, it should be enough. Housekeeping rudely asks if you need service in the morning, and it's tough to communicate with them because of a language barrier. Also saw their housekeeping techniques...not too hygienic. I'm a pretty easy-going person and some "dirt" is not an issue with me, but I know if my husband was traveling with me and saw this, he would have a very big problem. Breakfast consists of hardboiled eggs, snack cake pastries, and toaster waffles that they make in the back and bring out 5 at a time. One morning I went in there at 6:45am (breakfast starts at 6:30am) and nothing was ready. No juice, no milk, only pastries and breads and condiments. hmmm. Only person I can commend for making my stay comfortable was the front desk attendant. He was very king and helpful.
Positives: Convenient location.
Negatives: Hotel atmosphere.

This hotel is nicely situated. Although not a metropolitan area, is is in a business district with plenty of restaurants/shopping nearby within walking distance. Interstate highway access is one minute away. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Excellent security lighting outside, made me feel safe. An excellent value for a 'budget' hotel. Will definitely stay there again and again.
Positives: Convenient near restaurants and highways. Good value for the dollar. Cheerful professional staff.
Negatives: Thin towels. Light switches are confusing.

The housekeepers called at 8:30 waking us up to see if we left yet. They proceeded to call back every 20 minutes or so, I finally didnt answer the phone and not a minute later they walked in on us. Check out wasnt till 11. The staff at the hotel made if a miserable day with not much sleep.
Positives: It was very accessible.
Negatives: The staff was not good.

The front desk is very friendly, he knew my Name when I first walked in and said I had a reservation. The hotel is very basic but the room was clean. This is a good spot for the little night away from your everyday life and quiet and comfortable enough for the short business trip.
Positives: Close to all shopping/food.
Negatives: The lobby has an ambiance of Indian food.
