We always include our world-famous full New England country-gourmet candlelight breakfasts and feature a seasonal full size swimming pool surrounded by lush perennial gardens and fountains. .dotted with sun cots, chairs, and eight glass tables with big blue market umbrellas. Relax in the glory of the Victorian Suite at our second property, the Captain Spicer mansion (1853)...located a mere two blocks from the bustling downtown historic shopping and dining district & the Mystic River draw bridge on two landscaped acres of mature beech and magnolia trees.
This is a one bedroom, 3 room suite featuring custom details throughout, 15 foot ceilings, patterned parquet floors, separate bedroom, original wood paneling and fireplace mantels, stained glass windows, and queen sofa bed in the parlor (sleeps four). This is perfect for a special occasion, wedding party, short term executive retreat or more.
