Perfect for business traveler. Roomy and comfortable accommodations and friendly and quick service.

Positives: Clean and roomy accommodations.

Negatives: None

Have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 10 years. Although never had a bad stay, the hotel is beginning to look tired especially the hallway carpets and room carpets. The hallway carpets are in need of a good cleaning and the room carpet on this visit was very worn and really needed replacement. Maid service was also spotty.

Positives: Good location, clean hallways.

Negatives: Room was not properly cleaned upon arrival. Had to call housekeeping to clean it up. Rugs are very worn in hallways and rooms and need replacing.

Clean for the most part. Some areas could have used more attention. The lobby and main area's were recently updated. Not so much for the rooms. The rugs need to be ripped up through out. elevators had issues. My room was comfy, although, i could have just gotten lucky this time. Hotel can be noisy. Thank god my room was way at the end. Its not like i had the option for parking on the street. And considering that its a convention hotel tons of people are coming and going but not staying.

Positives: It was clean for the most part some areas needed more attention.

Negatives: $10 for self parking, its not like they provided a service.

Hotel was nice. But was expecting more.

Positives: Like the look of the hotel.

Negatives: Long walk to the room. and they gave me a double bed I wanted a single.

Do not stay here. This is a classic case of a hotel that looks gorgeous until you get into your room. In fact, before that, the corridors are less than 3-1/2 star - way less. Due to the hotel layout, the room we were assigned was completely on the back of the hotel. The only way to access the rooms is from the front of the hotel / there is no rear entrance. The parking is in the rear, so you have to make the long walk to the front and then weave your way all the way back to where you just started. If you need ice, take a cab.
The rooms are dated and are in need of upgrade. The first night of our two nights stay was quite uncomfortable. The AC barely worked and we sweated all night long. We complained and they gave us another room on the floor below in the same area of the hotel. They claimed that they did not have a King bed available so, we had to sweat again or take room #2 with 2 double beds. We took the other room, and the AC worked but it was in worse shape otherwise. Do not stay here. They have some nerve claiming this as a 3-1/2 star hotel.
Positives: Atrium is beautiful.

Negatives: Rooms are in dire need of upgrade.

The hotel is user friendly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have been wonderful about shuttling me to work, a mile and 1/2 from the hotel. The bathrooms have grab bars for those of us who need them.

Positives: Toothpaste is provided along with the usual shampoos, soaps, etc. Also, PBS is available on TV and there is a refrigerator for small things.

Negatives: Cleanliness is not as good as usual. I had to request that the desk chair be washed as it was pretty awful when I first arrived.

The hotel is great a, busy, and friendly.

Positives: Refrigerator in room very good, large flatscreen TV very nice, comfortable bed.

Negatives: Bathrooms are usually cold and do not benefit from heating in the room.

This hotel at one time was nice. The hotel is in desperate need of an facelift. The few things I enjoyed about this hotel was checkout and the atrium which you can tell is the only part of the hotel that is having money spent on it. I will never stay in this hotel if I return to CT again. I'd rather stay in an economy hotel and know what to expect, sleeping in my rental car for the evening would have been a more relaxing time than staying in this dilapidated hotel.

Positives: Leaving.

Negatives: The fact that the alarm in the room was covered with black tape and flashed all night. The toilet overflowed. There was a loud sound from the pipes.

The Hotel is fine with very comfortable rooms. Food menu could be considered a little pricey. But, there is no free internet. not even free WiFI in the lobby. inexcusable in my opinion in this day n age. the reason why i won't recommend it.

Positives: The rooms are very comfortable and quiet..

Negatives: There is no free WiFI. Inexcusable this day and age.

This is an excellent hotel for a wedding or a big business event. Not an intimate hotel for those expecting a romantic get-away, though once past the conference area, the atrium created a warm and welcoming space that brought the bigness of the hotel down to a more intimate space. The rooms were roomy and comfortable and very quiet!

Positives: Beautiful atrium and comfy rooms.

Negatives: A little too big.

Very helpful staff. Extremely beautiful hotel with indoor stream and plants. Beds were very comfortable. Nothing bad to say.

Positives: Very upscale in a convenient location. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Negatives: I just wish I could have stayed longer!

Very large hotel. You have to be prepared to walk a long distance from the parking lot to your room. I was a little disappointed at my room. It was a little dingy and rundown looking and slightly dirty. It needed a good sprucing up. However, the staff was friendly and attentive. Housekeeping never came to clean to my room.

Positives: Very pretty lobby.

Negatives: The hotel room was slightly run down.

Upscale hotel in suburban area. Clean, nice-sized rooms. Comfy bed and nice shower.

Positives: Comfy bed, beautiful enclosed atrium.

Negatives: Toiletries were noticeably lacking, 2 half used rolls of toilet paper, annoying to have to pay for parking in suburban hotel.

The Hyatt Regency was absolutely gorgeous. With the welcome I received and the amenities of the room, I was beyond pleased and have already told many friends that it would be a wonderful getaway or stopover for NYC travelers. Wonderful experience!

Positives: Comfy, cozy, well marked and extremely friendly staff.

Negatives: I got in late and ended up very hungry around 11:45 pm. No vending or room service.

Overall a good place to stay, hotel staff was a little slow on responses, but can't expect everything for such a great price.

Positives: Rate.

It was a very nice hotel.

Positives: The courtyard inside was beautiful.

Negatives: Paying $10/night for parking and an additional $10/night for internet.

While the location is strange, I found the Hyatt Regency to be an attractive, comfortable, clean hotel. There's an atrium restaurant in the center of the hotel with trees that was very pretty.

Positives: Comfortable, nice sized room.

Negatives: They charged for internet use. Also, parking.

I really don't understand why a high end hotel like the Hyatt needs to nickle-dime you for the internet, when the more mainstream hotels provide the service as part of the room cost.

Positives: Quality and

Negatives: The need to pay for your internet.

Great lobby, I arrived late and dinner at the Gazebo was maginal. The mashed potatoes were cold and lumpy, the chicken was just ok. The bed was quite hard. There is one bank of elevators. My room was the absolute furthest from the elevators.

Positives: The atrium lobby was spectacular.

Negatives: Room was located farthest from the elevator.

It was apparent that a different service is given to "regular" paying customers. I overheard a couple checking in being offered a choice of a view -- my room looked out onto the roof and all of its mechanics. The walls were dirty all over - the room smelled musty.

Positives: Located close to my business facility.

Negatives: Although the hotel was nice, the room was worn with torn furniture, horrible view.
