Built in 1929 as a ranch school for society girls such as the Pillsburys and Vanderbilts- the resorts authentic Spanish Colonial adobe buildings and casitas were designed by Josias Joesler-one of the regions renowned architects and keeps history intact with intricately carved beams- hand-painted detail and a private library still shelving vintage books from the era.

Our 59 rooms are all uniquely decorated and furnished ranging from the remodeled dormitory rooms of the 1920s to our spacious Casitas.

Our 34 acres of lush landscape and gardens allow guests secluded relaxation while being minutes from major attractions-shopping and dining
