Old resort, rooms are clean and large. Pool tiles need scrubbing. Updating is beyond needed.
Positives: Location, size of room.
Negatives: Front desk women miserable, men a bit better.

Standing water in bathroom sink, new sink needed, not very appealing sight first thing in the morning. That sight bothered me. Carpet in room needs updating, stains. Great place if you have pets as I did, beautiful grounds, super friendly, helpful staff and price is right. Can't touch that price in Scottsdale in December for an otherwise very nice hotels. I think the ground floor rooms facing Scottsdale rd are the older ones they have not updated. I stayed in room on the 2nd floor last time there and it was a very nice room.
Positives: Grounds, staff.
Negatives: Standing water in bathroom sink, new sink needed, not very appealing sight first thing in the morning.

The hotel was okay and comfortable, but not the best.
Positives: Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, the restaurant facilities outside are cozy and comfortable, great views.
Negatives: They charge $15 for parking and use of facilities.

This was a great location for visting the people that we were visiting in Scottsdale.

When I arrived at the hotel (8:30 pm), I was told that there was an additional $15.00 resort fee that I had to pay. My wife, my 1 year old, and I went to our room. When I opened the door to the room, I was greeted with the sound of loud rock music that was coming from the outdoor bar and pool that was located just below my room. I returned to the front desk to ask for another room and found that there was a different person working there. I asked for the room to be switched. He told me that there were no more rooms available and that the music would eventually shut down. I returned to the music room, gathered our belongs, and returned to the front desk to check-out. The original clerk was at the desk. I told him that I was checking out since there were no rooms available. He said that there were more rooms at available and gave me another room. I then dragged everything back upstairs to a room with no music, but an extremely loud AC unit instead. There was also no microwave oven.
Positives: White bed linens.
Negatives: Rude staff, extremely noisy air conditioner, 1970's decor.

Wish we had stayed more than overnight to really get a good idea of everything offered. It was a very short stay and we didn't explore outside the room.
Positives: Price.
Negatives: Room service breakfast was atrocious.

I was in a good mood with my Priceline.com winning bid and ready to relax when I entered the Millennium Resort Scottsdale on June 5, 2010. I soon felt like I was confronted with the front desk afternoon manager's nasty abrasive attitude and the realization that I was being charged a previously unspecified additional "resort fee" of $9.00 plus tax, per day.
Positives: Customer friendly morning manager.
Negatives: "Resort fee" surprise and the front desk afternoon manager's nasty abrasive attitude.

The property is nice, pool looked nice, and the lake is a pretty feature. I would have liked the rooms to be more updated and cleaner.
Positives: The balconies off each room were nice to relax outside.
Negatives: The room was dated, needs remodeling, and new carpet.

I was only in the hotel briefly, really only enough to shower, go out to dinner and shower in the morning. I needed a bed. It was a nice hotel, nice room and good value.
Positives: Good location for what I needed to do and good price value.
Negatives: Nothing to say that was bad.

It was not what I expected for a resort in Scottsdale. I was disappointed. The room decor was horrible. The food at the Pinon Grill was the worst I have ever had. I took 2 bites and was done yet paid for it all.
Positives: The front desk was friendly.
Negatives: The food at Pinon Grill was disgusting! The room was not a resort room at all.

Called several days prior to stay to confirm, however, when arrived, we were told by hotel front desk that they were 6 rooms oversold and asked if we could go down the street to the cottonwood resorts which had rooms available. Public areas of hotel were nice, but room needed updating. The quality of room did not match what we would consider for a 3 star hotel or a resort. Also we asked for a crib for our infant and it was a portable playpen.
Positives: Beds were comfortable, nice TV.
Negatives: Quality of room was poor, drawers in dresser did not open and close correctly, knob for setting fridge temperatures broken.

Grounds were nice.
Positives: Layout was interesting; helped to limit noise from room to room.
Negatives: Large spaces around door; not very private; poor noise reduction.

Great rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel itself including lobby, hallways, room itself and leisure areas could use updating as this is still in a nice part of Scottsdale, Az.
Positives: Good location. Super price for location.
Negatives: Hallways and main areas were a bit outdated.

The hotel is nice and has many amenities like paddle boating and canoe rides. The rooms are comfortable and the staff was really nice. The down side is that the resort charges an additional $9 a day in resort fees and it is taxed an additional $1.17. Be expecting it.
Positives: Nice lake and amenities.
Negatives: Hidden cost were not appreciated.

The staff was very friendly. They offered to take us down the street to swim - which we did, since the pool/hot tub was torn out and being re-done. The room and hotel were both very clean. The front desk said they had poles, not the best - then my husband was told that there was only carp in the pond.
Positives: Cleanliness.
Negatives: No pool - bad mattress.

Hotel was ok. The room was fine, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. What we did not like was the amount of construction going on at the hotel during our stay. The pool was completely closed and it was 100 degrees out. We were told we could use the pool across and down the road at another hotel, which was not the most convenient thing to do when you are on vacation. I would not come again until after all the construction was complete.
Positives: Room was comfortable and clean, staff was friendly.
Negatives: Pool was closed for construction.
