Disappointing property. We were given a room facing the freeway, and were told it would cost an additional 30% to move to the other side of the hotel (which was far from full). We don't believe they think much of Priceline guests. Toilet wouldn't flush properly (had to hold down the handle for 30 seconds to get any kind of flush at all), and maintenance said the plumbing was just old. Only a 1-cup coffee maker in the room (which broke after two days), and no complimentary coffee offered in the hotel lobby. Door handles so hard to turn, my wife got stuck a couple of times. Nice pool and spa, though it was closed one afternoon. Reasonably comfortable beds, but hardly a 3-star hotel.

Positives: Great setting in the Ponderosa Pines, with open space and trails behind the hotel.

Negatives: So many things that didn't work properly or were cheap. Very dated.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Although an older establishment, it has been very well maintained and the room was spacious enough for our family of five. Large bathroom with second sink in the main room made for efficient morning prep. Smell of pine trees was very relaxing outside the hotel.

Positives: Excellent location and very nice, spacious room. Well maintained.

Negatives: Indoor pool would have been nice - weather was cool during our stay.

Very nice grounds! Pool area was large, had horseshoe area, playground for kids, 2 mile walking trail thru the forest was really nice!

Positives: Very large room with table and chairs and even 2 easy chairs to sit in as well. Spacious bathroom!

Negatives: Furniture was dated and mattresses uncomfortable.

Positives: The outdoor setting is beautiful. The swimming pool and hot tub are huge! Our room was charming.

Negatives: We had trouble using the key to our room. We had to get help from maintenance.

Nostalgic leisure oriented hotel in my favorite location in Flagstaff. Easy to get to all parts of town and plenty of decent restaurants nearby.

Negatives: No elevators and lots of stairs.

Our stay at Little America was top shelf all the way. There was nothing that could have been improved on. We were blown away by the size and luxury of our accommodations. The food was excellent. We were pleased in every way. If we ever get the opportunity to go to Flagstaff again, we will surly stay at Little America, no question about it.

Positives: Fantastic location in the pines. Secluded, yet easily accessible. Wonderful!

Negatives: There was nothing we didn't like when we stayed here, nothing.

We were so pleased with the property when we got there that we reserved a 2nd night. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfasting in the restaurant and sitting by the windows was very pleasant. The grounds are pine forests with a hiking trail. We will definitely go back.

Positives: The room was very spacious and well-appointed and the restaurant was excellent.

Negatives: It was a long way from our room to the lobby and restaurant.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. The room was dirty, tile was cracked throughout the bathroom, the faucet leaked, the furniture looked like something that would have belonged to my grandparents parents. Staff was not friendly. Parking sucked. The only good thing from this hotel was checking out and thanking God we only got it for the night!

Positives: Loved the location, right off of the I40.

Negatives: This hotel is way outdated and needs major renovation. Tile was cracked, shower wouldn't turn off, furniture outdated.

Extremely convenient for travelers on rte 40 and in a woodland setting.

Positives: The setting in the pines was wonderful.

Negatives: The pink tiles in the bathroom seemed dated.

I real bargain for the price. Spacious room and very large bathroom. Very clean with wonderful linens. Excellent staff. Room decor was somewhat dated - could use some updating. I would stay here again.

Positives: Large room and bathroom, excellent service, very clean and

Negatives: Decorating was dated - needs some updating.

Everything was wonderfull except the mattress. I can't believe they had that mattress in a three star hotel. The worst night sleep I have had in a very very long time.

Positives: Location, cleanliness.

Negatives: The worst mattress I have ever slept on in my entire life.

Little America is an excellent hotel almost resort type setting nestled in the wonderful pines of Flagstaff, AZ. The rooms are spacious with living room extensions. A very quiet retreat with excellent facilities including bar, lounge and fine restaurant that is family friendly. This is one stop you must enjoy!

Positives: Spotless, friendly, wonderful rooms and facilities!

Negatives: I couldn't stay longer due to plans but would love too!

Everything far exceeded our expectations, clean, quiet, near everything we wished to do, services provided were excellent and we will return.

Positives: Everything was fantastic.

Negatives: Nothing to dislike.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sun 11 Jul 2010 rated 9 out of 10.

The grounds are very pretty. If you have nothing else to do in town it is nice just to walk around and just be outdoors. The hotel is in the forest with trees and wildlife all around.

Positives: The grounds were very pretty.

Negatives: It wasn't pet friendly and no microwaves in the room.

I would not recommend this hotel if one is expecting a four star or resort accommodation. The rooms were filled with old and damaged furniture from the 1970's and it smelled like my grandmother's mobile home. The restaurant was horrible and the restaurant furniture was just as old as the chairs and dressers in the rooms. The cleaning crew left hair and pieces of toilet paper on the floor after they supposedly cleaned the bathroom.

Positives: It was close to my destination and was easy to access the hotel, close to the freeway.

Negatives: Old, outdated, looks like it would have been a 4-star in 1970.

This hotel had spacious rooms, was very clean and was quiet. There are not legitimate bad things to say. It's tucked away in the pines and was peaceful.

Positives: Spacious rooms that were very clean.

Negatives: If anything, it was older. But, it's well maintained.

A great place to stay for a family! Large rooms with a restaurant at the hotel - very comfortable and convenient. Decor and furnishings are a bit dated, but functional. The only complaint we had was that the door to the room did not keep out hallway noise. It wasn't noisy, though, so we enjoyed our stay.

Positives: It had large, clean rooms which is nice for a family.

Negatives: The decor is a little dated, and hallway noise was easy to hear.

We loved our stay at this hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely like to go back and stay there again.

Positives: The accommodations were great. The motel is situated in the pines in Flagstaff--easy to find and even has a large gas station and big convenience store.

Negatives: The keys to the rooms were a little difficult to use.

Excellent customer service. Hotel was very clean and upscale. Is tucked back amongst the trees. Extremely quiet although we were right next door to a truck stop, would never know it. Food at the dining room was very good, although the breakfast buffet was a bit high priced.

Positives: Great customer service, providing guidance on local restaurants.

Negatives: No elevator. Lots of luggage. Will need to carry up stairs.

Quality, exceptional quality for the price, attractive. Well-decorated, spacious, comfortable. At Christmas, lots of lights. Definitely will stay there again.

Positives: Spacious, well decorated, though dated, comfortable, quality appointments, totally clean.

Negatives: Nothing--it was fine.

Allowed us to check in at 1 PM instead of 4 PM, but did not have king bed. Nice grounds, large room, lots of chairs, elegant old-time feel.

Positives: Old-age charm, vanity separate from bathroom.

Negatives: Would not give us king bed.

The hotel was clean and quiet, except for the train whistle that went off every 2 hours and woke me up, but my room faced the highway. The staff was friendly. The furniture and decor is dated. The room's vanity, bathroom, cabinets, and hardware is very dated. It made me feel like I was at my grandmother's house that was built in the late 50's Pink Square tile in the bathroom with a telephone next to the toilet and the style of furniture and decor is old dark Victorian. I did not use the swimming pool or fitness facility, but they both appeared clean and well kept. Two outlets in my room did not work, the printer in the business center one computer did not hook to the network, but the staff was able to print out my boarding pass in their office. There is a cute gift shop in the lobby.

Positives: The staff was helpful and friendly.

Negatives: The tile, furniture, and decor is very dated.

We had a great experience at this hotel, aside from the soiled sheets on one of our beds. That, along with the property having no elevator are the only negative aspects which we experienced. We would definitely stay at this property in the future if we are in Flagstaff again. Also, the staff was very friendly.

Positives: The hotel had a fun & unique atmosphere and comfortable accommodations.

Negatives: There are no elevators. It was a challenge to get our luggage up stairs to our rooms.
