Great time! Two beautiful golf courses. Food wonderful and so was the spa! We would definitely go back to this resort!

Positives: Nice large bathrooms with plenty of counter space to put your things.

Negatives: They need to tell you upon arrival that you are paying $29 a day for tips for the staff at the resort.

I would recommend this resort to others. I thought the setting of boulders resort and their lodging was wonderful. There was plenty to do at the resort and also many places to drive to that were not too far away in the area it's located.

Positives: Loved the setting, the spa, the room with fireplace and service for picking us up while staying in resort was excellent.

Negatives: I don't have anything that I did not like about boulders.

This is the third time over twelve years that I have stayed at the Boulders. It is like time has stood still there. That has both positive and negative implications. Memories and familiarity are great but the facility is showing its age in both looks and limited technology.

Positives: Pristine grounds, natural beauty.

Negatives: Somewhat dated, could be updated. Wireless DSL only, which I could not use.

Nice location, needs updating. Did not feel like a 5 start but more like a 4 star hotel. They definitely need more staff when checking into the facility.

Positives: Ambiance in the desert/boulders

Negatives: The $30 resort fee per day + hassle in checking in

The hotel's layout is one of seclusion and privacy. You are not coming and going out of a main lobby which makes you feel more like a resident than a guest, but pampered nonetheless. At the same time, the exclusiveness of this hotel makes you feel like a star. I highly recommend it.

Positives: Arizona is beautiful and this hotel captures its natural beauty. A fabulous desert experience.

Negatives: They give you flashlights to help you see (on your way back to your room at night) were too weak.

I own The Works Salon & Spa and I am in the service industry, so I recognized all the attention to detail that the Boulders provided, they went above and beyond. The experience that my husband and I had at the Boulders was one of best we have ever had. We had the perfect room with a gorgeous view. The hotel staff acknowledged our anniversary several times in many, many special ways. It was amazing. The golf was spectacular, the restaurant superb. The room, the surroundings, the service, the spa, all first class, five star treatment. We will definitely go back.

Positives: From the hotel, golf course and the spa, the staff paid attention to every detail!

Negatives: This was a perfect travel experience!
