Mckinley Foothills B&B is a bed & breakfast located in Trapper Creek.

McKinley Foothills cabins is a great place for those who like the outdoors.

We have a GREAT view of Mt. McKinley. The Mckinley Foothills Cabins are located 132 miles from Denali National Park and 135 miles north of Anchorage, so in essence we are between Denali National Park and Anchorage.

Guests have to drive just 20 miles from the main highway.

We have very private, secluded, rustic, fully furnished log cabins, all located in their own setting.

We are open all year round. A SUV is preferred transportation.

My brother and I stayed there in 06. We had a blast. If you love roughing it, which my brother and I do, its a very good place to be. It is a bed, but no breakfast, but that was okay, I prefer cooking myself. If you don't like that, go to a hotel. Very close to fishing, and hunting. We love the outdoors and this experience was the best to us, a true outdoors experience. Make a campfire and cookout there, we had wildlife all around. Great place for hikers too. They have great views of McKinley. The couple who own it were very friendly and available if needed. Cabin was rustic and comfortable. No hot water for showers and an outhouse for a bathroom, but my brother and I loved that too. Perfect experience for roughing it. It is very remote and very private. We went in August, so weather was good too. You may want to contact me about the place.

Negatives: Cold showers.

If you expect anything other than a shack in the woods, this is not the place. I didn't expect much but even I was surprised when we had to walk 100 yards to get to the cabin. This is really not a decent place to stay.

Primitive, remote cabin, poor service (e.g., management failed to bring water even when requested), no meals provided. Very expensive for level of service. The roof didn't leak.

MAKE A LEFT AT OUR SIGN. GO 2.6 MILES AND YOU ARE THERE. On your left side of trail. FROM THE SOUTH: GO NORTH OF ANCHORAGE ON TO THE GEORGE PARKS HIGHWAY. GO
