Arctic Caribou Inn is a motel located in Prudhoe Bay.
The Arctic Caribou Inn was first opened in 1978 as the South Lake Inn, an Arctic touring facility. NANA Development Corporation purchased the building in the mid 1980s and has since made various upgrades and improvements to the property. The inn now serves as a remote-site camp for oil field workers year round and functions during the summer months as a tour facility. From May to September, the Arctic Caribou Inn welcomes guests from tour companies such as Holland America and Princess. During these summer months, the inn keeps 44 of their 200 rooms separated for tour use.
