Beautiful hotel with wonderful "resort" feel located at alyeska ski resort. Convenience is unbeatable if goal is to spend some time skiing and then relaxing in the hotel afterwards. Our room had a beautiful view of the tram, mountain, and a few of the ski runs. Wonderful! Beds were a bit disappointing - not nearly as comfortable as we would have expected for this price and quality of hotel. Mattresses were "springy" (could hear them squeak when moving around) and sheets felt rough.
Positives: Perfect location for skiing and great pool for kids.
Negatives: Beds and linen were not up to par for this level of hotel.

Potential! I think the Alyeska Prince Hotel has lots of potential and was probably much nicer in it's earlier years. The hotel was very run down including rusty water coming from the pipes, heavily scratched doors and walls and worn leather sofas. The service was good except for a few instances involving the pool area. The pool area says it is open until 10:00pm but they kick every one out at 9:45pm and they don't let anyone new into the pool after 9:30pm. Maybe, I was just expecting too much from a 4 star hotel.
Positives: The lobby area on the 2nd floor and the lounge on the 3rd floor were very comforting.
Negatives: I did not enjoy being kicked out of the pool area fifteen minutes early. The TV was very small as well.

Negatives: It is getting run down.

This hotel says that its restaurant called "Seven Glaciers " is the best in Alaska. We were ripped off bad. The food was VERY expensive, service was poor, and food was terrible!!!! It cost $170 and we only had 2 glasses of wine. The reindeer chops were VERY tough. The salads were very tiny and not good at all. I would never recommend this restaurant.
Positives: View.
Negatives: Too many buses. More a hotel for cruise people for a one night stay.
