Good location with a free shuttle to the down town areas. The rooms were clean and comfortable as were the public areas.

Very nice, great value for the Priceline rate. Nice, friendly, helpful staff, lovely atmosphere in the public spaces, convenient parking, and free computers and Internet. Very handy!

Negatives: Bathrooms were small and a little run down, but the shower was great!

Hotel was great. There was some kind of mix up, and I was charged for the room by the hotel that I had arranged through Priceline.
Positives: Clean.
Negatives: Nothing.

We liked the room. It was very clean and comfortable. The lobby was beautiful. The lounge area was very nice too. I did not like the fact that there was no WiFi in the rooms. Cheaper hotels have it.
Positives: The staff was great!
Negatives: Parking fee of $10.00! and no WiFi in the rooms which for the star rating it should have had.

When we mentioned this to the desk clerk while checking out, he did not respond. The rest of the staff was very professional and friendly. The common spaces were beautifully decorated. The room was comfortable.
Positives: The staff except for one were well trained and friendly.
Negatives: When we returned to our room after the first night (9 PM) it was not cleaned.

I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to travel to Anchorage.
Positives: Clean, walking distance to downtown.
Negatives: No breakfast buffet, if they offered free parking and free internet I believe that would pull in more consumers..

Could not even hook a DVD player up to watch our own. No microwave and we were not up to an expensive meal in their restaurant area. The heat had the room way too hot and it takes a long while to get the temperature too comfortable. It is a nice hotel, but just wasn't what we were after for our weekend.

It was very pretty the food was good, the bed was hard the sheets stiff and full of static. Every time we moved we woke up from the sheets.
Positives: It was pretty.
Negatives: The sheet was hard and static, kept us awake.

The room was very hot when we arrived and it took 24 hours of running the AC before it cooled down. There is a refrigerator to keep you leftover food, but no microwave to warm it up later. There are no in-room movies and no pool. There was some convention at the hotel when we were there and ended up parking at a meter on the street because the hotel lot was full (after we paid $10/day for a parking pass). When we checked in, we requested an infant crib. Several hours later, it had not been brought to us so we had to call and ask again.
Positives: Very clean.
Negatives: Extra fees for amenities that should be free.

When we arrived, the room was incredibly hot. We turned on the AC and it took a full 24 hours for the temperature to come down to a comfortable level.
Positives: Very clean, and staff was friendly.
Negatives: Not enough parking, and AC units need upgrading.

Overall, the stay was good. The hotel itself seems to charge additionally for a lot of things included in other hotels as complimentary.
Positives: Rooms were quite and clean. The staff was friendly.
Negatives: The restaurant was fairly expensive and I had a soup and sandwich and the soup had turkey bones in it.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in luxury either while traveling or for a romantic get away. There is a spa for pampering, fine dining, a nice lounge, fitness center and the rooms are very comfortable.
Positives: The room was upscale and the bed was extremely comfortable. I felt like I was definitely traveling first class.
Negatives: Nothing negative to report.

The Sheraton is always my first choice when staying in Anchorage. It is a nice safe walk from the 5th Avenue Mall (Nordstroms) and many nice restaurants.
Positives: Great location and newly refurnished rooms.
Negatives: It's a bummer that parking is $10.00 per night.

Beautiful hotel, clean, elegant and comfortable.
Positives: Beautiful rooms, good location and good view of the city.
Negatives: No movies, no continental breakfast and very expensive restaurants and services.

Overall it was a pretty nice stay but we had a room with two double beds. My husband and I were in one and a friend was in the other. We are used to a king size bed so the bed felt real small and not real comfortable. The beds should probably be queen beds but the rooms are not big enough for two queen beds.
Positives: I really liked the remodeling of the lobby.
Negatives: I do not think guests should have to pay for parking and the old doors need to be replaced.

The hotel is attractive and contemporary. Excellent brand new remodel! Close to all downtown shopping and restaurants.
Positives: Very attractive and contemporary. Excellent brand new remodel.
Negatives: Café and restaurant left a lot to be desired both in menu choices and food quality.

The hotel is acceptable for business travel.
Positives: Close to downtown.
