We are located at 1100' elevation with one of Anchorage's prettiest views. Five wooded acres of unspoiled Alaskan wilderness surround this custom built cedar home. The sweeping view includes the city's lights, Cook Inlet, Denali, distant glaciers, islands, mountains and three active volcanoes.

We are a rustic B&B establishment with a quiet adult atmosphere.

Our inn is suitable for well-behaved children over the age of 12. Quality features were incorporated in the design of this secluded B&B, situated in a quiet, upscale neighborhood. 4WD is advised October through May.

We offer many breakfast choices low in sugar, cholesterol and sodium for our guests with those dietary requirements. All meals are served with Gramma's china & silver and handmade linens.

The Victorian - A lovely brass bed with queen size Beautyrest, oak floors, lace curtains, floral wallpaper, easy chair, TV/VCR. Vanity with sink. Fluffy robes.
Share a bath with one other room. Popular with guests who prefer to curl up and hibernate with little or nothing on the agenda. Full breakfast.

The Sunset - Masculine decor with a queen size Beautyrest and oak floors. Rolltop desk and Lane recliner make this room a favorite for business travelers. Wildlife art, TV/VCR, vanity with sink.
View to the west. Fluffy robes, shared bath with one other room. Full breakfast.

The Sourdough Suite - Is often referred to as "Group Therapy for Two". This is our most popular room with locals celebrating special occasions. A romantic retreat with queen size Beautyrest and solid brass frame. The sitting alcove has TV/VCR, fridge, easy chairs and an outstanding view. The private bath includes a dressing room and a luxurious 4x5 lace-curtained Jacuzzi tub. Savor one of life's most civilized indulgences....breakfast in bed, if you choose.

Denali (20,320 ft.) is often visible, 150 miles distant. Lengthy sunsets silhouette three active volcanoes, Mt. Iliamna, Mt. Redoubt and Mt. Spurr which you may observe smoking across the inlet. Soak in our outdoor hot tub while enjoying the view. Nestled beneath towering evergreens, the outdoor hot tub is available year round and is a favorite with stargazers. When the Northern Lights appear you'll have the perfect vantage point. The colder it gets, the better the hot tub feels!
