Positives: The price was OK-and housekeeping does their best. That's about it.
Negatives: Everything else. It was low even for economy standards.
Comments: When I stay at hotels this cheap, I'm not expecting a lot. But this place was really bad. The hotel is outdated- they had these floor to ceiling windows at the door (like an old Holiday Inn, hmmm) that you had to close the blinds or everyone could see in. The mattress was flat, and in spite of scented candles and Febreeze, my room still smelled bad.

Positives: We were in town for my fathers funeral, and this hotel was spectacular, very accommodating.
Negatives: Pillows were a little bit limp.
Comments: Staff were very accommodating. Clean, centrally located, comfortable. Thank you for your kindness in our time of sorrow.

Positives: Location, convenient, great staff, beds were quite comfortable and real pillows (not flat).
Negatives: parking lot had much litter, coffee cups too small
Comments: I would stay at this hotel again. The staff were wonderful, the beds were quite comfortable, and the pillows were actual pillows. Not the flat, pretend things you usually get. There were no drafts around the door or windows, either. The breakfast was passable. Coffee - good.

Positives: Covenant to lots of historic landmarks and Penn State University.
Negatives: Nothing to dislike.
Comments: Very clean and the hotel staff was always friendly as usual. Have stayed at this motel for several years now and will continue to do so. Highly recommend this motel to travelers.

Negatives: Dirty and Smelly.
Comments: I would not every go to this hotel unless you wanted to stay in a dirty, old, and smelly room.

Positives: Affordable, good locations, nice pool.
Negatives: Rooms were really small.
Comments: This is a very nicely-kept older hotel. The pool was great for the kids. Rooms were small, but were neat and clean. The only complaint we have is that one of the woman managers seemed intent on harassing the guests at the pool. She started telling people that they couldn't do this and that in the pool area, even though nothing she was complaining about, were listed on the "pool rules" sign that was posted. I was surprised at her behavior because at check-in she was very nice. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay.

Positives: Convenient location.
Negatives: Room small, economy style lobby and eating area.
Comments: Ok for what we wanted.
Mon 16 Jun 2008
Positives: Check-in staff was friendly and helpful.
Negatives: Bathroom - toilet paper holder, room - 3 of 4 lights on wall switch, 3 days ran out of OJ.
Comments: The hotel had some great features but was a little run down. There was a restaurant and bar. The outdoor pool was clean and had steps along with ladders. There was a small exercise room. There was a washer and dryer for $1.50. I had a micro/frig which was a nice size. The room had 3 of 4 lights connected to the wall switch. I was able to move one bed light to a seperate wall plug. The toilet paper holder was elbow level when sitting. The sink area was separate from the shower/toilet but, both were on the same switch. Shower/toilet switch had been removed. The breakfast area was ok and they had fruit, one waffle maker ceral and bagels but, 3 of 5 days they ran out of OJ. It served its purpose.

Positives: Helpful friendly staff. Good free breakfast.
Negatives: Rooms could use updating.
Comments: An older hotel, but pretty well maintained. Mattresses not as firm as I like them. Rooms needed better soundproofing, but hotel was in a mostly quiet location. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Did not sample restaurant/bar.

Negatives: Old dirty and disgusting.
Comments: I would never stay at this property again.
Wed 07 May 2008
Positives: Good value for the price. Clean bathrooms.
Negatives: Carpeting needs to be changed in the rooms.
Comments: Good place to stay for an overnight or two. Complimentary continental breakfast a plus.
Wed 07 May 2008
Comments: It was scummy, the manager was incompetent and didn't even hear me come in. The questions asked were given a short answer.
Sun 04 May 2008
Positives: The room was clean and the staff was friendly.
Negatives: The bed was rock hard and we couldn't find an ice machine and there were no hotel maps.
Comments: The hotel was what we expected for a 2 star hotel. Nothing fancy, just a room for a night.
Wed 30 Apr 2008
Positives: It was close to everything.
Negatives: Rooms are not terribly attractive.
Comments: This is a good basic hotel. There's nothing fancy here. The service is good, the workers are nice, but it's nothing special.
Wed 16 Apr 2008
Positives: It was convenient for our trip.
Negatives: Old architecture and styling. Stairs to 2nd floor (no elevator).
Comments: This hotel is convenient and basic. It is a bit off the highway and quiet. It has dated styling, room doors to the outside (rather than a hallway) and somewhat of a "worn out" look. The service was friendly and the room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was adequate but not exceptional.
Wed 16 Apr 2008
Positives: Convenient location.
Negatives: This hotel was filthy. Mold in the shower, dirt on the walls, rugs were filthy.
Comments: I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. This hotel was absolutely filthy. It is old and in desperate need of an overhaul. The walls, floors, shower are covered with dirt and mold. I was grossed out.
Sun 13 Apr 2008
Positives: Badly in need of a remodel.
Negatives: Dirty carpet.
Comments: One of the worst Comfort Inn's I've stayed in.
Wed 02 Apr 2008
Positives: Housekeeping is doing the best with what is provided.
Negatives: Everything but housekeeping.
Comments: Quality Inn says that they provide Serta sleepers in all their rooms. If that was a Serta than it must have been very old. The pillows were so small that it has taken 3 days to get over a stiff neck. The carpet in the room was stained badly. There was a substance that looked like cooking grease dumped outside the door to the room, which we stepped in a couple of times. This place is in bad need of a major renovation. I will not be a repeat customer and would not recommend this place unless you are in a serious pinch.
